Loved your video! I’m a huge 80s horror fan and movie fan in general. You’ve mentioned some obscure or films I personally haven’t heard of but will definitely give them a try. I know you get them on blu ray and I also enjoy the remastering of some but don’t you just love the grainy original feel of the VHS ? I love it when a dvd bring that over on an old movie just gives it more of that 80s feel when watching.
@@horrorintoj3577 I agree VHS has shot up! Think is dvd is far superior! 80s horror tho for me is the best low budget or otherwise. I’m a huge Friday 13th fan they for me we’re the best I love a good old slasher. Do you have any recommendations? Have you seen sleep a way camp? Just subbed 👍🏻
Brilliant! Pleased you all had a great day and the films went down well. Afflicted is awesome, one of my favourite found footage films. I actually thought the Wolf Cop and Dead Snow sequels were better than the first ones. Plague of the Zombies is great too, and a nice looking transfer on that Studio Canal blu-ray too. 👍
These streaming-mad individuals who snigger at us people who collect movies always annoy me. They don't seem to realise that not ALL of us only watch movies on streaming. I blame them for the sad reduction of physical media in supermarkets. Take no notice of them, Tony. They will never stop us from collecting our favourite films on blu ray and DVD. Anyway, Tony, another great video. Glad you had a good time meeting up with your fellow UA-camrs. Keep up the good work. Hope you had a nice Easter.
Sounds like an awesome day, galaxy of terror is brilliant mate, still not completely sold on the candy man it was OK but there was something off about for me , have an awesome Easter weekend pal
Sounds like a great time in Notts! I really enjoyed afflicted, Candyman was ok but prefer the original, watched a great movie last night, you should check it out if you haven't seen it, it's called Amer, its like a more recently made giallo, but if an argento feel to it, very surreal... Great foreign horror
I've seen Afflicted and I really loved it to me it's a really unique and different found-footage film than having another haunted house or infection films I love CEX I save up some money and head in there from time to time especially when it comes around to Halloween also what is your favorite black and white horror movie?
I had a great time with you both! Thanks for the Criterion blu ray. Will have to have a movie night at mine next time 🙂👍 hope you enjoy your pick ups
No problem mate, it was a great day

I totally agree, Tony. Yes, I am good, thanks.
Great pick up there on Plague of The Zombies. CEX are a joke, though, putting those nasty stickers on the slip case.
