The fact almost all of Europe went to war with Napoleonic France and Napoleon still won though theres 2 European Superpowers that were in the war UK and Russian Empire. Also beat the coalition 4 times. He demonstrated exceptional military skills during the Siege of Toulon. He won the Battle of 13 Vendémiaire to end the threat to the Revolutionary Government. He led the French to victory in the Italian Campaign against the First Coalition. He also did single handedly kick austria out of the war managed to got into Moscow. Though he didn't stay there for long the fact his army can keep up in such weather and conditions shows how good of the military leader he is. He didn't lost his entire army. His defeat during the russia campaign is more complex than that. the russians know that they had very little chance of winning against the 600,000 men of napoleon in good shape and motivated so they start to retreat and burned everything in their path. All the suplies for the grande armee was burned when napoleon took moscou. This + the winter + the russian counter attack when french started to turn around after taking moscou = defeat. Napoleon is probably one of the greatest strategists of all time, or atleast one of the greatest to step foot in Europe.

Celui qui sauve une nation ne viole aucune loi.
Actually is the greatest no one has won as many battles as him
he won 65 battles while the second greatest the Duke of Wellington only won around 38 battles
