A lot of fans from the Genesis and Saturn days of the Shining series simply weren't feeling how vastly this one was compared to the classic games. Speaking as a classic fan myself, though, I actually really enjoyed the game for what it was. The characters brought so much charm that it was worth it to me.
Had to grab the game for the 1st time because 1. SEGA 2. Tony Taka 3. The music is just godlike and 4. Sexy girls like Two princess, Elf and Dragon. Nothing beats Rainbow's Melody song but this Refrain OP is ok...but 10/10 still because Saori and Asami singing together!
I honestly grabbed this game in today eShop offers and must say I'm easy to please with this kinds of games, still the game is awesome

Music is absolutely godly, game is very mediocre if you ask me.
Because it’s just good. Nothing more nothing less. I’ll probably play something like Okami before I play this.

It's the best Sega game in my opinion.
Shining force and shining the holy ark is much more better...but this game is good... enjoyable...but not as good as shining force
