  • THE FIM FAMILY
The strength of a football team lies in its cohesion and team spirit. Our foundation works on the same principle: we place great value on strong partnerships that help us plan and implement projects. Through partnerships, we bring together committed people, know-how and resources needed to initiate social change.
That is why we have created the FIM Family - a network of experts consisting of government institutions, educational institutions, representatives from politics and science, non-profit organisations, companies, committed individuals and football clubs. The partners involved support our foundation either ideally, in terms of personnel or financially. This allows us to build on comprehensive expert knowledge and use valuable synergies in the implementation of the projects. Because only together is it possible to implement sustainable and successful projects. True to our FIM motto "together we are stronger".
    SPECIAL ADVENTURE CAMP
The Special Adventure Camp (SAC) is an experiential football camp for young people with and without mental and/or physical disabilities, promoting inclusion and social participation through sport and play.
Through sports activities, excursions, cultural exchange, cooking, music and theatre courses, we aim to promote the physical and mental well-being of the young people and teach them new life skills and abilities.
The focus is on young people with a disability, for whom adventurous sports holidays are otherwise unavailable or difficult to access.
Regional, national and international football teams for people with disabilities meet at the camp to play football and experience inclusion together with non-disabled students from local schools.
Presentations on inclusion will take place at local schools during the week of the camp. Afterwards, the students are invited to the sports field to play football with the young people with disabilities. This is a fun way to promote mutual understanding. Inclusion is not only explained, but actively experienced.
During the camp week, the coaches and trainers of the young people are offered further training opportunities in the field of disability sports. We want to offer local clubs the opportunity to train their coaches in a targeted way so that they will be able to include more young people with disabilities in their clubs in the future.
The camp week will end with an inclusive walking football tournament. The aim is to raise public awareness about inclusion and the needs of people with disabilities. The subsequent Player's Party for all participants will round off the programme and provide fun and entertainment. Young people with disabilities, regional walking football clubs, companies and students from local schools and clubs are invited.
