Great mods to the museum. I'm currently building the set to go into my city layout and did think the original set deserved to be a bit larger. Looking really good!
Your city looks a lot better than some people who have way more funding and much larger cities. I like that when you make an official set larger, it's not just making it bigger with no consideration, it actually makes sense and adds something to it. It's like composition.
Thanks! I try to make changes purposefully. In this case, making the building standalone rather than next to another building. I dunno, it just seemed to fit the space better. Thanks for watching!
@@rebricks Not surprised. I’m in the middle of sorting out some sets and my Lego table has been a mess of parts and sandwich bags for a good couple of weeks now 😂
I’ve extended my museum in a similar manner but also deeper. One modification I made was I removed the white/grey stripe between floors, replacing it with olive green plates. Looks much better that way imho.
Projekt Świetny! Muzeum wygląda teraz dużo bardziej monumentalnie. Nie naruszając stylistyki modularna powstała jego lepsza wersja. Super robota. Czekam z niecierpliwością na kolejne projekty. Pozdrawiam.
Good job on the expansion! Glad you decided to remodel the lab, I thought it needed an upgrade as well. I like the outdoor sculpture at the end, very cool. Another fun vid 👍
Love your city. What if you add a Museum Station stop at the back of the museum? You could build it into the museum, or connect it with a short path to that back door. Most city transit lines have museum stops. 😊
If I may suggest something, I would place the tree away from the building, further out and on the sidewalk. I think it wouldn’t hide the museum so much, the building looks so great with your changes.
This is a great idea! I’ve actually been slowly acquiring the parts to make about a dozen of these trees to replace the center strip on the main road. I love these cherry blossom trees!

Seeing a Brickland update in my feed always makes me smile :) Love the modifications you've done to this! I wasn't a big fan of the Museum initially but this might've convinced me otherwise. One thing, might I recommend lowering the volume of the music in these videos just a touch? It feels like you're at roughly the same volume that it is and it can be a little overpowering. Absolute nitpick though, keep these up! Love seeing how this city develops.
Thanks for watching I’m glad you like my videos! Audio is something I’ve really struggled with and will be doing some more research on for next time. Thanks for the suggestion!
How do you approach the mod? You build the original set first and then edit? Or right from the start. I got assembly square all setup now. But thinking on splitting it and widen the gap between the cafe and flower store for a route towards the station i am building.
If I’m starting with an official set I always build it first. I like to learn techniques this way. Then yeah I transfer it over and while I do this I just kinda go for it and try stuff out.

The original is still awesome! Olive green is one of my fav Lego colors.
@@rebricks it absolutely is.....

The audible _gasp_ I let out when you showed that mess of Lego on the ground :O
Haha it’s still mostly there 😭

loved it, thanks for sharing!! :) ⛲ a fountain in the grounds maybe?
Yeah I thought about a fountain but I’ve already made one just across the street! Thanks for watching!
Great build! I love your city!
Glad you like it!
Making those adjustments to the museum made a huge difference. I love it! You cracked me up this week! Thanks for the humor injections!
Haha I’m glad to have made you laugh! Trying to be on camera more, it’s a weird experience!
I love that cube statue you made on the left of the museum. Gonna copy that for my city. ^

Ooh yeah I can see that. It might take more changes to the floor than I’m willing to do at this stage though…. 😃

Very nice! The city looks better then what I could make (I seem to lack funds as I am still in school).
School is a worthwhile expense! Keep going!

I’ve actually been considering this so I guess we’ll see! Thanks for watching and commenting!
That looks really cool!
Thanks Manatee!

This build look so cool far beter then the normal 1
😎
Looks like museum of natural history in nyc. I live on 98th very close to it
The columns are definitely reminiscent of it for sure. I wonder how much the set designer was inspired by that building.
Please put Zane from ninjago as a statue somewhere in the museum. He was our hero
Interesting idea!
Очень круто, молодец! 🙂

@@rebricks thanks, pretty similar to me. Though I have done very minor mods. Most time is going into rebuilding and rebuilding the station.
