Police Officer Breaks Homeless Man's Crutches On Purpose. Then This Happens

- Kendrick has been trying to adjust to being homeless when he suffers an injury. Now on crutches, he is unable to walk and unable to work. One day, while begging for change at a street corner, Kendrick is confronted by a police officer. The cop demands he leave the area as there is no soliciting and no panhandling allowed. Then the officer accuses Kendrick of faking his injury in an attempt to extort more money from people. Later as Mango Park Police Captain James Porter arrives on the scene, he witnesses the officer manhandle Kendrick and break his crutches.

Love this clip. But morally even though the homeless man deserves it. But the police captainn or anyone cannot give another person's check to someone else it is illegal. But what police captain can do is get the proper forms for donations to the homeless man from the police department. In hopes that the homeless man does not file a lawsuit against Police department and the police officer (bad PR is just bad PR (PR is public relation) for the police department) for harassment destruction of property and emotional as well as discriminationand any other charges that could be brought up against the officer. As to the police officer his rights were violated as well. Captain cannot detain the police officer (unless the officer has been arrested and the captain can put the officer on suspension without pay at his discretion and the captain can launch a internal investigation) and put him in the back of a police car handcuffs to teach him a lesson in humility. Two wrongs does not make it right. This is the very reason we have a legal system for all parties involved and that no one is above the law not even law enforcement. So if you can take this one down and rewrite the script And re-air it so you can send the right message to all. Thank you

He deserved far worse than what he got. Capt. Porter should've had the young officer permanently fired from the force, and that he's *never* allowed to join another police dept. Whether panhandling is *"legal"* or not, that shouldn't give anyone the right to assault anyone or destroy their property.

That cop was terrible. He had no right to treat that young man the way he did because he was homeless and injured. He bullied a defenseless, half crippled guy because he thought he could get away with harassing someone that's helpless. I'm glad that Captain Porter came and arrested the Monster Pox out of him. He should've taken him to jail in a wagon like he did that Karen.

So many people with physical needs are desperately trying to make ends meet But there are people out there also,that don't think that they will someday be in the same or worst situations and overlook the fact that what goes around comes around. Accidents don't only happen to the poor and elderly people, but also to those that at one point feel well enough to ignore or fail to see the needs of others. Life can many times show us that we are all human , that we may some day be facing a difficult time in our lives .

Real facts bro, also there was a white guy, his name is Joe was in my School time back.
He now works in the ER at my hospital, he said to the Matron, "I don't think theres anything wrong atall with him really, I think hes just making it out to be" or something he said.
The Matron nurse then went "yea I agree".
I over heard it after a few of my seizures when I told the black lady nurse, what they said she mustve said something because after they soon quietened down.
Was then given a load of meds via IV esp for my stomach, they treat patients badly.

There was one problem with Capt. Porter arresting/suspending Officer Clark.
He didn't take Officer Clark's weapon off of him when he was arresting/suspending him or putting him in the car. That itself could have led to Officer Clark shooting Capt. Porter or the homeless man out of spite.
