As a pilot, I want to claim that the button she pointed to at @18:39 does NOT start these engines. In the majority of aircraft, you have to start up the battery, then an APU, then add some fuel in then you can press a button to start an engine. It is more complicated than just pushing a button.
What is the make of the jet? 12,000,000.00 seems like a very small amount for a jet of that size. I am watching a lot of Private pilots with they're YT videos. It's a very interesting life and a very scary one if your afraid of flying.

I don't understand the economics of this for the company. In its recent sale, Playboy was valued at $381M with $142 of debt. Is spending this much on a corporate jet a responsible use of assets? Or is this a corporate playtoy (joke intended) for the Board of Directors? Is it worth this for celebrity Instagrams? btw, on his death, Hugh Hefner's net worth was only $16M - $25M. Not that much among the super-rich.
I don't know the ins and outs of the company, but I know there is a way to utilize a jet purchase in order to write off and basically defer or offset taxes for multiple yrs. Grant Cardone has talked about it, but I am by no means an accountant so can't explain the details.

That plane believe it or not was manufactured in 2007. They must’ve got it in pretty rough shape at $12 million, because judging by the cockpit alone it has been upgraded at a cost of several million dollars, and that overhaul is probably a $10 million overhaul. Certainly not a $12 million jet anymore! Fix that title!

The magazine was never the money maker that people think it was. It made a small profit but its main purpose was promoting the brand and maintaining exposure. The magazine promoted a lifestyle and advertised its other products.

The plane isn't for Hugh Hefner to fly around in personally it doesn't make sense to spend $75 -100 million on a brand new modern jet. That plane believe it or not was manufactured in 2007. They must’ve got it in pretty rough shape at $12 million, because judging by the cockpit alone it has been upgraded at a cost of several million dollars, and that overhaul is probably a $10 million overhaul. Certainly not a $12 million jet anymore!

Good point. Yes they have merchandise that sells really well at Marshall’s and other retailers. I think they have moved on from magazines. Not sure if you’ve seen those boxers that say playboy on them or the t shirts they’re more popular among the newer generations . Playboy TV is still on also so they’re not doing so bad.
The magazine was never the money maker that people think it was. It made a small profit but its main purpose was promoting the brand and maintaining exposure. The magazine promoted a lifestyle and advertised its other products.

The plane isn't for Hugh Hefner to fly around in personally it doesn't make sense to spend $75 -100 million on a brand new modern jet. This is for social media influencers to take pics and vids while attending playboy events. It will probably spend the rest of it's life flying LA to Vegas with the occasional trip to NY. Lovely plane and Anna is even more lovely.

I wish the disco ball was bigger but very cool as a magnet. The bed for the mile high influencer is cool. The small granite loved. This wild generation of fake alligator doors but made to look like the real thing. I think the plates should be simply just the bunny logo. I think the seats even though amazing should have been darker and clubier this was more executive. Loved the pilots chair in sheep to keep them warm or cold. Almost should have made the bed the same. Well rich people next stop the grotto at the Playboy mansion. Or Vegas who knows.

I thought Playboy was financially in trouble? This plane is worth more than 12,000,000. The cost to maintain a jet like this is in the millions. They salaries of the pilots, maintenance of the engines, airport fees, storage of the plane, fuel costs. If this company fails with their membership program I don’t see this company surviving. The magazine itself loses one million per issue. So you have influencers from UA-cam and the music industry trying to advertise their brand for this membership deal. We will see if this company makes it or this jet will be up for sale.
