I have some questions. 1) I noticed people usually have attendants for assistance, do I particularly need one? I can't afford one nor am I interested in doing it myself. Just wanted to know I guess if people expect an attendant to be there or if its implied that I am just there to set it up and pick it up after the event. 2) Do you use background lighting or a table with props? I don't have an issue getting those things just want to know if they also are expected or if the ring light is enough light. 3) How long did it take you to start getting profit? How many events did it take including the free gigs you offered? 4) Say I am doing a wedding and they prefer the photos in one big gallery. How would I go about doing that or does each photo have to be sent via phone number or email? 5) Have you ever done proms? How do schools like to distribute their photos to their students? Like would I have to leave a QR code for them to pick up to see their photos if its just one big gallery? 6) I got social anxiety so this is just a question for me I guess haha.. Do you usually converse through email/facebook/phone when and where you are placing the Salsa before the event or do you usually meet the event owner at the place and they tell you where to set it up? Just curious cause I don't know what interactions comes with the business so I need to prepare myself haha Thanks!
Hi! We just got the Salsa App, and noticed that your overlay/template the 2020 one shows prior to taking the actual photo. We have added our own overlay but it doesn’t show up until after the photo is taken, is this a setting thing? Any info would be appreciated! We would want the overlay to appear before the photo is taken so that people can see the design and where to frame themselves 😊
That totally makes sense and honestly I didn’t notice that the preview isn’t there anymore. I haven’t had an event in awhile but the next time I set up one I will look into this.
Is there a monthly maintenance or software fee? I’ve noticed a lot of these photobooth companies have monthly fees. DJ Randy G Epic DJ’s Entertainment Atlanta / Gwinnett County, GA
Hey Randy, yes the app is $50 a month but you can pause your membership at anytime. I have tried many different apps and this one has been the easiest to use and customize by far.
Hey what is the best way to get these custom PNGs onto an ipad if you don't use apple products? I assume there isn't a USB port. Do I need to connect to wifi on the ipad and open up my email after I sent it to myself?
So the salsa app actually has a web version. You just login from there and import your png overlays and set up the entire event. When you set up your salsa and turn it on the event automatically syncs to your iPad app when it connects to WiFi.
@@DJLoStax I am excited. I purchased a salsa booth over 2 months ago and just getting started with the setup options. Let me first say, I am not very tech savvy nor am I an apple fan, I'm android for life. So when they said I have to purchase an iPad for the booth, I went into panic mode but quickly recovered. The salsa company offers tons of support but I still couldn't catch on until I clicked on your UA-cam video. Awesome! This helped me 100%. It was like I went from trying to study Statistics to basic addition and subtraction. Thanks DJ LoStax
Thanks for making vids like this! Great info.
You help me get closer to get one!!! Great Video!
Good tutorial. You need more YT cred. Props.

Very informative! how much does the software cost? Is it a monthly or yearly payment?
This is pretty interesting, I'm headed to photo booth expo, and I might buy one! :D
Great video..can you send the pics to the individual only? Many times all the pictures go to everyone at that event
Yes you can set it to send to only the person who puts in their phone number.
Great video! Can you use this app with a simple ring light or you need this specific stand ?
The app will work but one of big advantages of the booth is the app controls the ring light
Here is a link to their website. if you purchase through my link it will help support my channel.

It looks pretty short, or are you really tall. How can it take good photos being that short.
I am 6’5 and the head is adjustable.

I only can see the overlay and not the image of person taking pictures what am I doing wrong? What do I need to do?
Overlay must be saved as a .png file. What program are you using to create the overlays?
nice video:)
How to activate account of salsa?
