I love Harrods, Harvey Nick's, Selfridges and Fortnums, but I must say no one does Christmas Decorations like Fortnums. The others don't come close 👍👍😁
Loving them! My color theme this year is aqua and gold. On Oct. 1, I am going to treat myself to an F&M teapot, teacup and saucer; as well as one of the classic aqua tea-oriented ornaments. Keeping my fingers crossed my treats will get safely across the Pond to the States!

I pick a different color scheme each holiday, and this year, I am finally picking up the aqua color of my home’s front door, mailbox and address plate, which I had repainted at least seven years ago. I always purchase a small, live, open-branched, tabletop tree, as opposed to a larger tree to reinforce the Victorian theme of this small, historic city home (a lot of money in upkeep!) and because smaller trees are easier to erect, decorate and dispose. This year, I am planning four holiday parties of various sizes, the first of which will be an intimate tea for five. That’s why I wanted to purchase the stripe aqua Fortnum tea pot both for the party and the color theme. I know my reply was wordy, but I so appreciate your kind comment!

This was just delightful to see!! F&M is my favorite of the iconic historical stores in London. They have started off with great displays! I love how they have themed the decorations in the various areas. I love the 7 foot advent calendar. The prizes inside the doors are GORGEOUS. I love the hat boxes, the cakes, the teas, and the champagne glasses. Everything is superb in those doors. I would not change a thing about that calendar. They have outdone themselves and the prizes are superb. I really love the F&M decoration section. In fact, last year I bought quite a few of those! The hot air balloons (I got 2), the hampers, the tea caddy with tea cups and tea pot, the tiered tea cakes plates, and I got a letter "L" ornament! I went "hog wild" last Christmas on the F&M website. The nut crackers are lovely. Beautiful variety. The pastel colored decorations "inspiration" pieces are beautiful. Love the large sled! The gourmet food tins are amazing - wish they would ship those overseas. I would love to get the boozy cakes! Of course, I always love the traditional baubles. The hand made baubles are absolutely lovely. So beautiful. I do not blame you for not lifting the glass dome to see the prices. LOL The pet decorations are great. Love the dog/cat advent calendar. I LOVE LOVE the dog cracker!! I hope they have that on the website this year to order because I will stick those in my Greyhounds' Christmas stockings!! I guess my favorite areas are the F&M designed ornaments and baubles and the gorgeous traditional Christmas baubles. Enjoyed this!!!

Sounds like last year you got a great selection of items from F & M and don't blame you for getting two of the hot air balloons, they are lovely. @@joatkins-linnell2413 Hi Jo! Yes, I have had Greyhounds for almost 30 years now as adopted/rescued pets. Right now, I have two - Daisy and Nate. I love them; however, this is my last ride. I have so enjoyed them all these years, but my life is getting to a place where I need to plan ahead - and dogs need so much care and looking after - especially if I want to travel or go away for a day or two. And they are quite an expense, honestly. But I have enjoyed ever second I have had the privilege to be with them all these years.
Loved the 7 feet advent calender. Don't know what I would with the presents though. The smaller ones were inventive with the themes. I would like the flat Christmas 🎄🙂 and especially the tea one. You can really personalize the calender to the person. Didn't like the yuletide section very much but did like the father Christmas decorations. The Garden of discovery had some nice decorations but just didn't like the big flowers. They completely overpowered the tree. Liked the dream of a white Christmas 🎄 section. Loved to see the crackers of course. Liked the Christmas 🎄 trees 🌳 by the snow globes. Loved the Georgian experience. The gold decorations were gorgeous. Liked the pet section but really wonder how 🤔 you pull a cracker with an animal especially at that price. Really liked the toy soldiers section, nice choice. Didn't like the hand made decorations. Liked the feris wheel. Always enjoy a food section. Overall some great things like the big advent calender and some of the gold decorations, but just not very inspiring. Libertys continues to win.

Steve, wonderful, of course. And yes, there were 6-7 things I found particularly beautiful. But gut still says, this is too darn early. Can't they all wait 'til at least middle October?! Here in the states, you'd almost see nothing-Christmas until the day after Thanksgiving (that somewhat heralded the start of the Christmas season), or during Thanksgiving week. It seems both abroad and in the U.S., retailers have pushed this thing earlier and earlier .

Love Fortum & Mason, and have done since a child, The evening is the best time around Christmas, To see all the window displays.. It`s never too early for Christmas shopping, buy some thing every week & put away...
Our dog Dougal wants something from the pet section! 🐩😉 I love the pastel colour ornaments! Especially the icicle shaped ones that were all different pastel colours. I loved seeing them all, and gasping at the prices!😉 Some we’re Gisela Graham which you can get anywhere for not much money so surprised they were there! Georgian section too old fashioned for me personally. Great video thank you!⭐️💜
If you want to feel properly poor, go watch the Selfridges Christmas tour at London Visited before venturing into F&M...2500 for a sleigh - you really want actual reindeers to go with that.
