That would all depend on how the issue is dealt with. If you are the manager and spot an employee being rude to the customer, then you have to have a talk with them. Warn them, write them up, suspend them or fire them. The restaurant will only close if the pattern continues and nothing has been done about rude behaviors. Now if you are a manager acting that way, you will lose business even faster because they are supposed to represent the business as a whole.
Even if she looks "sick".....and she was (with cancer), that's an all more reason to be kind to someone. They're already going through a lot as it is with their health and personal life.
This reminds me of the time when I took my grandmother to a restaurant. At the time she was on a wheelchair. The restaurant staff refused to let someone in a wheelchair come in. At the time my Dad was parking his car. Then he came in. The staff then welcomed him in - they knew who he was because he's a doctor. He then said "Where is my mother in law?" I then pointed out to him that the restaurant refused to let her in because she was in a wheelchair. Needless to say that didn't go down well. The owner of the restaurant was one of my Dad's patients and a few hours later a very strongly worded letter was sent in.
Wow. What a lucky coincidence that the owner was one of your dad's patients. But no matter if they're rich or poor, people really should treat everyone with respect.
That young lady needs to learn to respect everybody, everything and herself, otherwise she'll lose everything and look what happened...she lost everything. Thankfully, my parents have taught me to respect and show manners to anyone I meet and greet. We need more kind people in this world.
To be honest Jane seemed too ignorant and immature to be the manager of the restaurant. She already proves it when she is rude on the phone and after she gets fired when her rudeness goes too far, she then says childishly "Your food was awful!" A good manger treats everyone with respect, isn't judgemental and admits when they're wrong. I really hoped she learned her lesson.
She shouldn’t be like that to her mom. That’s disrespectful. That’s not what being a manager is about! It’s about making sure that the customers are satisfied with the food and service, and helping the food handlers handle the food without causing foodborne illnesses and handling the major food allergens, not deciding who comes to a restaurant and who doesn’t!!! She’s just being mean and disrespectful so she would be manager. What a hypocrite!
She shouldn't be like that to her mom ? The daughter of the woman that was disrespected had to correct the young girl on her cell phone. Absolutely that young girl behavior was rude and disrespectful.
@@erickbuckner4485 No she didn't. Her tone suggests she's only giving lip service and as soon as she's back on her feet, after being flat on her back if you get my drift, she'll be "back in action".
This video was so good and that young woman was very rude to the lady just because she looked that way .. I was taught you treat everyone with respect no matter what they look like ..Look what happened I’m glad ok ..RESPECT !!
I heard of a guy who owns many Restaurants. He had cancer and dressed poor to give his restaurant managers the test how theyd treat homeless people to see who will Inherit the title of new owner when he dues. Each but one not only refused him but even proudly saying how the owner of the fine restaurants has cancer and they were looking forward to his death so they can claim ownersip. Of corse last one was kind and served the “homeless “ person and they got ownership
And....that's when mystery shopping begins and send reports to the owner. And auditors who do the bigger stuff... Sending reports to let them know which employee does what to whom etc .. we evaluate their customer service skills.
“I didn’t know who she was. She never told me.” What difference does that make? I’ve been working at a family owned grocery store for three years now. Members of the family visit from time to time, not too often though. Of course I feel honored, but I would feel even more honored if I knew what the family members looked like. But it doesn’t matter to me, cause I treat all my customers with as much respect as I can, even when my patience is tried sometimes.
Working in F&B is hard, but being rude to customers is a big no-no. This senior citizen is telling this waitress to be humane. Terrible hospitality!!!!
Everyone deserves respect and dignity, no matter what color they are or faith or how they're dressed. Just because you are born with wealth does not make you better than others, just lucky.
First of all get off your phone. And learn respect. And I’m glad she fired her. And I dunno if I would have so nice to her, if she treated my mom like that.
Jane got what she deserved for being rude to the boss’s mother and now she’s lost her job moral of the story treat everyone with respect and kindness cause you never know who you are talking to
My friend owned a successful Mexican restaurant some years ago. His wife convinced him to hire there daughter's to run the front of the house & wait tables... needles to say the girls ran all the customer's away & the business eventually failed...
Why is the host is so incredibly rude like who hell does she think she is I can't believe she could be the manager she should be fired nobody should be treated so terribly or be judged on how they look
This is what's wrong with people that work in fancy restaurants automatically assume everybody is underneath them and when the truth comes out they feel like such a moron for judging somebody I know a lot of very wealthy people these people don't wear suits and ties they wear blue jeans tennis shoes t-shirts most of them wear shorts and people talk down to them and when they find out who they truly are they do feel super extremely stupid because I know a few of the people that own a few of the cafes and restaurants here in this town they don't dress in suits and ties they dress so they feel comfortable and casual ever judge a book by its cover God Bless the people that bring the great videos

When you go to work some place or even when your interviewing for a job. Learn as much as you can about the place and the job your applying for first. It will help you to get the job. I was a hiring specialist at the company I worked at for 20 years.
Omg - You don't tell someone you need to be in a hospital and are scaring the customers. Who do you think you are ? I'm gonna be the manager here ? Before hiring her to manager she should have learned basic human skills. I would have said Hi - Good Afternoon or something and not act like this.
Always be kind, generous and considerate not rude and unpleasant.
Yep her boss defended her mom pretty good
person reading this: ❤ you're gorgeous and don't let anyone bring you down. 🌈
You don't need to learn the history of a restaurant. Being respectful and kind to everyone across the board is what's needed.
Yeah hx is irrelevant to a person being kind.
Yes, then she would of known who started the business , who owned the restaurant .
@@rissadp-m2679huh
If a restaurant actually spoke to customers like this IRL chances are they wouldn’t be open for very long...

rule of thumb: the way you treat someone always has a way of coming back to you
It goes to show that we all need to show respect to each other
Yes that is true , we need to show respect to each other, how are you doing??

Never judge until you walk in their shoes😞

what a beautiful lady.
When u r rude & disrespectful to others it will come back to u. Awesome video!
Thing is, she was only "sorry" because she found out that lady was the owner and mother of the current boss. Her "apology" wasn't sincere at all. 😅
She should have never gone into hospitality
This is the way young peoples act today, cold and rude.
Immature and selfish. Time to grow up and treat people better. True lesson learned here.
As a wheelchair user I've had the misfortune of meeting people like this. It's so simple, kindness leads your ❤ so use your head.
That lady can really act because I was so angry watching this video; I was angry the entire time 😡
In the words of Karen "let me speak with your manager."
Yesss...kick her out. And please, inform every restaurant owner in the city and cities nearby about her despicable attitude
If I actually made my own hotel business if one my employees are very rude to the customer I'll immediately get them fired

Things we were taught as children by our parents and teachers. Now millennials need to be taught as adults!

You don't need to know who they are to respect them or accommodate them, just respect them unless otherwise.
