Was about to charge my phone last night and then the inside of the charger blew up. Stripped out the charger first thing in the morning and i saw a piece of metal(from the exact vid) shorting the metals prongs. ironic how it has a safety mark on the back of it.

That's concerning. The one I got with my tablet looked like the one on the left... the replacement a I bought last year looked like the one on the right? Wtf? How do you open these to find out?
The real one is extremely difficult to open without damaging it...fake one opens easily.
I really hate Samsung giving this type of charger because after days of usage the plastic piece that can be pull on top seems to wear out and becomes blackish

Can you tell me the resistance of R15 and R12? What number is written on them? Just below the thermistor. SMD resistors : R15 and R12 .. Pleaaaaase . Please

Then buy a charger from a trusted Store, like a mobile phone provider, or from the Samsung shop. In Hungary if you go in tó Telekom, Yettel or Vodafone, you can buy original chargers for your device.
In a chinese shop you can buy a charger what proves it can provide 2A, fast Charging, but when you lift it up it only weights 30g and only for $2? What a Deal...
If you buy the original, it will be like $10 or even more. But the original won't explode, won't die right after you plugged it ín the wall, and won't set your house on fire while you sleeping.
