We are the only state that bans online armor sales, we can see still purchase armor face to face, but buying armor in person is difficult(almost impossible) because there are not many places that sell it and the sellers are basically all police supply stores.

He demonstrated to me that it was anti-stab by actually slamming a knife onto it & it didn't pierce through & it also had straps so you can wear it under your clothes. So I ended up buying it, primarily because of these times & I wear it when I go out on the weekends or when I don't go to work

You can get a backplate for the emergency personal carrier. That’s the set up that I keep in my car with level 3+ plates.
The events of Blackhawk Down taught us we need the back plates. Great options and those backpacks in today's world is a must have for kids.

They are making soft plates made of uhmwpe (ultra high molecular weight poly ethylene) that can stop a .308 that only weigh about 3 lbs and cost below $300. It's called 3+
It makes me think about what constitutes body armor? Does Kevlar sleeves in factories? Steel Toe Boots? Hard Hats? Dora the Explorer bicycle helmets??Oven Mitts??? Where will they draw the line, or will it slowly wither away all forms of protection?

As a Canadian I was surprised his hard it can be to get armor in some states in the US. I think all provinces allow body armor as long as you can possess a firearm. Of course this means you need a license,but they are not registered items.

NY has a bill for it but no 1 has picked it up as of yet . Made sure I called my representative right away ROBERT ORTT
