I’ve watched a lot of videos of factory paint processes at plants like Honda, Mercedes, Porsche, BMW and Ferrari. Your technique, no joke, is on-par with those programmed machines. It really is a joy to watch and learn from you.
What's good Sprayway. Keep putting out that good Quality work my guy. Good to see you and Jr working together for the culture. Makes me think back being with my dad and uncle at granny house. Them telling me to give em a 1/2 inch or a Phillips head. Passing the knowledge down.
@SprayWayCustoms *I am here watching this new video of yours and yesterday thank you for making the time to stop by in the smaller channel live stream within My Community. Have a fantastic week.* ❤💯😎
Bro,that spray gun looks like it is built into your wrist, you make flawless passes with it,once again you are truly a Master at work 🙌 down love it bro.
Looks great! Was kinda iffy about the color before seeing it dried up. Gonna look awesome with the black roof! Is the roof gonna be gloss, flat or same as the green?
Thats a sweet color. I rattle canned a 96 ford f250 that color with black racing stripes. Came out nice! I gotta ask though: Why single stage? Just curious. Car will be a show stopper regardless, your work always is!
Thats gonna be nice man you amaze me every time you take a car apart like I always say you are the king at what you do that color is going to look good I thought your son would have been there on each video you do I guess he said pops got it from here
Nice work as always , surprised you didn't clear coat it but I'm sure you have better reasons than I can think of . But can't wait to see it all done !!
Single-stage paint. Think ‘basecoat and clear coat together.’ Cars used to be painted that way until around the 80s (I think). If you wet-sand or polish that kind of paint, it’s perfectly normal for color to end up on your pads.
I have heard big name custom cars say it over and over, hardest custom cars are the ones that look clean and simple .this car look simple and clean which I know it takes3 times more work to do than outrageous
Quick question boss, when you’re changing colors you don’t have to add primer anymore? Just sanding it enough so the new paint as something to bond onto?
On my super cheap customers I use acrylic enamel, two wet coats, followed by a fog coat to Even out all the metallics, then followed by 2 coats of upoll clear coat.🙊🙊🙊 Super cheap meaning 1000 bucks materials and labor.
So shame on me for not paying attention i guess. Do you always use single stage on the Jams? Only the jams? or does that depend on the person you are spraying it for?

@@snail415 I was wondering the same thing. Thanks.
It's a low gloss paint. Clearcoat would defeat the purpose of that look
Thanks...yes..it’s a single stage low gloss
Thumbs Up

I’m going to be using your steps on my black truck. Will the 400 grit show through the single stage black paint once repainted? Thanks
