@David's Stuff That's a great runner for sure on 5% Nitro. My FA-220 Zeus (I do suggest you get hold of one somehow, terrific power) runs on 10% Nitro, 18% oil content (fully synthetic) a 18.1 / 10 APC prop @ 7,700 rpm @ 1,800ft altitude. Also - for its size - relatively few vibrations. Strongly suggest you get hold of such an engine, you'll love it to bits.

I had a 220 in my sights about a year and a half ago, but it got away.

Bubble free fuel tanks work nice, but I don't know if they are available in sizes larger than 12oz.
Do you think it would run well on FAI fuel?

I have not run too many Saitos on FAI fuel. I do not recall them really liking it much however.

I've heard of some people running Saitos on 30% nitro Cool Power heli fuel. With an engine this size, that fuel would cost you an arm and a leg.

    Sir,
You did a wonderful job assembling this engine and performing the follow on maintenance run. Wow! I was looking forward to seeing this engine run video. This was my first larger sized 4 stroke engine. They are a workhorse and can pull freight! Gotta love that Saito sound.

Great Video & Beautiful Engine, I bought my Saito 1.50S in 2005 New, & its Black with Silver Rocker Covers like yours. I really do love my 1.50 too

Thats a thirsty engine, scary to handcrank even with a thick glove; surprisingly your starter made it very well. The run was as good as usually SAITO does. Bella bella bella.
