  • This short film is a series of clips from a three night long vodou ceremony in Miami at Societe Anka Bezwen's temple. Part of a series documentary I'm working on: Reflections of the Ancestors.
I do not own any music in the video.
The photos and clips were taken by Atis Lakay

@@aaroniquetaylor8778 anyone can practice haitian vodou, but they always have to understand its importance (Not like people who say they got initiated but in reality got scammed). The lwa call who they call, and if they just join for no specific reason, they will get what they deserve.

I wish I had the traditional Haitian dresses they are wearing. I don't have any Haitian clothing like that. I wish it was sold in the states.

Just to let you know that I'm working on a business idea which will be to produce and sell traditional caribbean attire and at the moment I'm working on making some traditional haitian clothing. Leave your email address so I can speak with you in more detail.

Where are the missionaries. I think we as Christians should intercede for these people and all people who have not yet found Jesus Christ all over the world. Pastors should go and open churches and teach the Gospel of Christ. I’m South African and we have too many foreign pastors here from all over Africa. Perhaps many of them should fo to Haiti where they will do an excellent job of saving souls. I know it may seem as if I’m against ancestral worship but the missionaries introduced the Bible to Africa and i think now it is the duty of Black Africans to help other people to open their eyes. Jesus is coming soon and all the Glory, Honor and praise belong to the Most High God who created heaven and earth 🌏. 🌈🙏♥️👏👏💐 May you find Jesus Christ whilst He is still near.

Oh my gosh, do other religions have this narcissistic way of thinking? See yall would be pissed off if one of them tried to go to church to try to get yall to do voodoo. Not everyone is Christian and we aren’t meant to be. There is many religions, thousands of gods and so many beliefs. That’s beyond narcissistic to think your belief if the only truth and everyone in the world must follow. That way of thinking has killed over 5 million people OMG.
