In this session, we will discuss how to create high-quality lesson plans for early learners. Required components, as well as process, will be covered. Participants will:
Learn a variety of ways in which lesson plans can be individualized to meet the needs of specific children, including students with disabilities, very young children, and dual language learners
Understand how universal design for learning (UDL) and curriculum adaptations can be used to support individual students
Explore lesson planning resources from Illinois Early Learning
The presentation will include case study activities to practice application of new knowledge as well as time for questions and answers.
