Nice paint!!
dont forget to shoot me some pics of the door gaps and the bottom of the fenders to the rockers. looks good. Thanks
I will try to next time I see the car
Absolutely epic job! So glad to have it back and done right! Thanks a million for your attention to details on this car.
Thank you sir! It was a pleasure!
Yes, you nailed it. Drop dead gorgeous. What's a job like that cost these days. I've seen 10, 20 30k
Prices here in the Northwest. I have a neighbor from California who swears that a job like what you just did is 70k that's right 70k
Boy the days of Earl Shieb " ill paint any car $99.00" is over. Then came along Maaco. LOL
Let me clarify... the 10 -20k jobs are when you take your car in as a rolling shell and paint already stripped. Then you get it back and reassemble it youself.
...not a rust bucket just a nice body needing very little.
Thank you kind sir! This one was nearly 30k once done
You do such great work. I still need to get you guys to do the shock tower on my fox and maybe some other rust spots and I’d be honored to have you all spray it as well
We will do it just let me know when you ready
Man I wish I could afford to have you do my foxbody you do awesome work man. I can barely afford to keep moving forward on my restoration but I just have to be patient. Hopefully when I try to do my own body work and paint it comes out decent lol. Keep up the good work! 🤘🏻
Aquamannn👌🏾
1 min in bro I'm in tears can't to start resto and finish my 1970 GS 4 speed All Original nice paint man .......
wait
Great job 👏
Killer work my brother like usual
Now if I can just get this metal from under the sail panel on the 64 impala. Smh lol
Once you fixed those pin holes in the first coat of base, how did you prep the panel for the next coat?
Wet sand with 600
Awesome job, I'm doing one the same color. Where did you find the paint?
Kokomo auto supply in Kokomo, Indiana mixed it up for me.
I thought after you spray epoxy sealer primer,,,your suppose not spray the base coat for 30 days to let all the chemicals in the primer disapate.
Each product is different be sure to check TDS sheets for the brand you are using
Gorgeous. What model Iwata gun if you don’t mind me asking
W-400
Thank you
What grit did you stop at before shooting the sealer?
320
You use the upol 2253 right
Yes usually
