I think 🤔 the readers bible is my answer. I have heavy study bibles but I been looking for something lightweight while I sit with my coffee or hot tea and read.
I also recommend the Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible, The Archaeological Study Bible, The Thompson Chain Reference Bible, The ESV Study Bible, The Holy Land Illustrated Study Bible, The NLT Illustrated Study Bible, a nice Bible Atlas and the Old and New Testament set of the Bible Knowledge Commentary.
I am slowly collecting a variety of Bible's My favorite's.are NKJB and NASB have a lot of copies of these 2 different styles 10 other version's s of the Bible,like to have a variety for different thoughts Wide margins and narrow pencil wide (man talk about tiny space for notes!) Like doing Bible Journaling so I am leaning more to wide margins for note and being artistic Bought a CSB coloring Bible and I love the art work Note I have a different study plan going on in some , trying new methods of study I have one Bible that's in a state of confusion as to what I'm doing lol a variety things in it
I have the niv archeological study bible, 1984 niv. Was one of my first Bibles I got when I was saved. Although the font seems to be a little small now lol. Getting older eyes aren't as good. I also have the ESV study bible. It's great.
I love my nkjv cultural background study bible, it’s one of my faves. I have the nlt illustrated study bible in my shopping cart. When you used it to do that study on psalm, I had to get it just for the psalm breakdown.
You said you didn't know if they still made the application study Bible they came out with a third edition of that Bible in 2022 it's really good I have one the large print has 3,000pages in it that's the one I have
Does your NLT bible come with the filament app?? I have heard that the notes from the app are the same as the NLT illustrated study Bible notes. I am curious to know if it is true.
I’m a pastor and Bible dork. Love the KJV lamb skin note takers. I have some wide margin ones from church Bible publishers that I love. Also love my Dake study bibles (yes I’m Pentecostal 😂)

I LOVE my Bibles, I have about 40 with half of those being study Bibles.
