I thought I had misheard when they said your dressage score was 18 !?! That’s A M A Z I N G !! And a win to boot..!! Well done to you and bear, awesome effort ! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰
I just had a little look at your BE results and you have had quite the season haven't you! It just shows how hard work and dedication pays off, well done.
im watching old eventing blogs while waiting patiently for this year's badders videos (congrats on the 6th place) and only just remembered about this old intro lmao ive been watching this channel for so long! truly amazing how far youve come in a few years (:
I have just realised even after watching it a thousand times that me and my family are in the background as bear jumps the white and burgundy fence! So chuffed to have made my way into the vlog even if it was only in the background but I was still in it! does any body else feel like that when you realise you are in the vlog or is it just me.
U are an amazing rider I have just started jumping Goofy my piebald 13.3hh cop on loan. He did a massive buck when warming up and a rear. Let's just say it was so big he almost fell backwards but I managed to stay on and it was pretty fun :)
Thank you for your gift of the ridiculous and extremely funny sunglass tan lines. I really wanted you to catch the moment you realised on camera, oh well. I get a lot of joy from this because i burn under a 60 watt bulb and have to sunbath fully clothed in a hat and under the shade of a cliff. P.S. Grammar no matter. You speak good.
I love this channel and it is very inspiring. I really struggle with bent elbows and a soft hand as i struggle to consistently do this. How did you learn where to keep them since you have a great position!!!!!
Pony Angel ah it just takes years of practice and I’m no where near where I want to be! Just keep reminding yourself of it and it will become natural! X
meg!! bear was awesome out eventing! if this makes you feel better, if you try it again just strap yourself in, grab a chunk of mane and squeeze. you'll ace it! 😂😂
It’s called ice tight which you put on their legs after xc it then draws out all of the heat! The you wash it off and then it’s drawn out most of the heat. It’s great if your horse hates ice boots!I hope this helps!
Bear did so well! Awesome video! I need Advice from someone in the eventing community. If you had to pick between taking lessons at a hunter/jumper barn versus a dressage barn what would you pick (context: I’m someone getting back into riding after a decade off and did the lowest level of eventing). I’ve read once you have a strong hunter seat it’s more difficult to adapt to a dressage seat, but heard dressage riders who add in jumping have stronger seats (this is something I’ve read on the internet anyway). I’m also in the US, and the hunter lessons I’ve taken the instructor wants me to have fairly closed hip for flat work. I’m worried this type of seat will hinder future dressage work but would love anyone’s advice/opinion!
Elise Hermann my friend, currently eventing at Novice level, and I were just talking about this, the importance of having a more open hip angle for dressage, and she and her horse just rcvd a 23.6 on Saturday.
Its so weird that your first place rosettes are green and white, that colour means 3. place in Denmark. Our first place is red and white, second is blue and white and then everything after 3. place is just green. So at first i thought you got 3. place and I thought that was fitting considering you 10 faults in show jumping, so I was very surprised with you winning. I don't think I have ever heard of anyone who could get 10 faults in showjumping and still win! Way to go though!!!
18?!?! Bloody hell Meg leave some marks for the rest of us... 😒😂💕
You make me die laughing sometimes hahah well done, she's some pony!
Holly Lenahan I’m glad to hear it 😘😘😘

A dressage score of 18!!! When I heard that my jaw literally dropped!! She’s such a cracking pony!!!

I’m from Australia and 100 is our best mark. Is it different in England?
@@Lara-xb3tl It’s not % in eventing, it’s penalties, 18 means she got 82 %! 100 - 82 = 18

Are the eventing dressage tests all ridden in a 20x40m arena? They all look so small compared to here in Australia! Haha

Ebony Equestrian hi ebony who I know
Ebony Equestrian I subbed to you teddy is soooo cute in your pp pic
i don’t understand how dressage marks work?
I know this is really late but in eventing you want to try and get the lowest score as close to zero as possible and 18 is an amazing score.
