Update from future Tux: the devs came back several days after the discussion post to retract their statement saying they will buff outpost drop rate to match the fortress, devs 0:03 saying that was a translation error. 🤦♂️
This I do agree with, I don't mind the grind, but finishing off a grind for a character and then having to wait till basically the next day to even use the character is annoying
@@jayinhd4296 A prime. Not a dang normal frame. This game is like: "Oh you want to build a different starter? 10 hours minimum unless you're super lucky!" Warframe is far more lenient in so many ways that it's just dumb to cherry pick prime frames as valid counterpoint 😂
@@RemedieX i played Warframe since the day it’s been around. Relax kid. Get out of your feelings. The grind use to be annoying on Warframe. Making it to level 40 defense and survival just to get nothing was insane. It also did take 72 hours for regular frames too lil bro!!! Obviously you don’t even have a clue on what you’re talking about or else you wouldn’t be here loud and wrong!!! I used Prime as an example because those were the ones most exciting to wait for. I’ve never waisted more of my life than with Warframe. You must’ve been a newer player because any OG Warframe player will tell you the grind was insane just to wait 72 hours for the frame. I just started a few days ago and already have 9-10 descendants. It only takes 16hrs for a Descendant. That’s awesome in my book!!! Then you said “10 hours minimum if you’re lucky” like they literally don’t have a set time for how long descendants take. Seriously, what is your comment even for???
Warframe did it better with the void relics farming, each player has their own prizes that they get and each player can choose which prize they want to have, their own or other players prize
would agree, however this was not the original function. this was added after years of complaints. it should have been here day one. but worth noting that it is not something that warframe did better. it is something warframe fixed tdue to similar complaints.
@taylorsps12 yes but, TFD came out as a copy of warframe. Which should imply that they would look at the quality of life improvements that warframe made up until the point of this game going gold. There are just a huge number of things that they took from warframe and just made it lesser. Namely the base descendants. They should have been boss drops. But instead we have to get relics and then do a relic run....those should have been reserved for ultimates. As it is, getting new descendants is a massive hassle because you have to fight through 2 seperate rng encounters. You have to rng to rng which is bad
What makes it more painful besides the timer is that majority of the time you getting nothing but duplicates that you can't do anything with especially if its a descendants or weapons you already have making it feel you wasting your time
Ive been enjoying this game, im not on it daily because i can see burnout to be a big factor in this game. And yes the RNG thing is abit off, not sure what to make of that. But overall since we've not even started the season i like that this Dev team seam to be trying their hardest to do whats right for the players. Obviously cant please everyone but thats gaming, and music, and art, et etc, thats life lol.
2-3 min should be OK, but, most importantly, doing outposts stealth way should cut time even more or net a bit higher chance to get amorphous turds so Bunnyacs and others at least consider giving Charen players mere 10 seconds and then jump in to annihilate everything. Another matter to address is enemy aggro patterns: during void shard or even worse - volgus outpost stealthily, enemies would aggro on random distant players just passing by or doing mission in general vicinity... Its very annoying , having to chase void fragment spawns, or immediately getting detected doing outposts. Also there should be mechanics for defense/capture/hack missions: if you wipe out enemies to the point of none being alive before next wave hits - game should just skip to next wave and grant additional progress based on time skipped. Its should speed things up for those who can deal with back-to-back waves, while leaving difficulty managable for everyone.
1 min to 2 mins seems more reasonable to me,3 mins just feels to close to what we already have an especially when me an many live seen can go days without getting a single material for what we need it needs to be pretty fast with a cool down to make it not easy but not also extremely annoying to farm, grinding is ok but right now outposts dont feel like a grind,it feels like a job,a boring one at that an ive gree up from when i got my first ps3 playing grinding games like defiance for example, that had a tough grind but nothing like this game
@@martakarolinazmyslowska6903 Sharen can do it. 2 basic mods for +duration (good if reactor gives some too), pop 2nd skill right next to the outpost and just roll from one tank to another pressing action to "break" them.
Also for hard outposts the material from the extra reward is diferent so you MUST use a sharen but if u are not in private world a random (most likely a bunny) will alert the outpost and ruin it
It’s not off. It’s RNG and the probability is abysmally low but it’s not impossible by any means. It’s not even that bad. I have every ultimate but Ajax and I grinded for them.
This developer is exceeding my expectations with how they are dealing with the community , there is NO OTHER live service that didn't nerfed something that makes the player's life easier , they honestly seems to like to see us enjoying their game in ANY way . I am now financially supporting the game , they are too awesome !
Good attitude, bro! Alot of these players probably have never made donations to the devs before! Just crying micro transactions! Personally, if I like the game, I'm gonna pay to keep the servers, and the content to keep coming! The devs are playing this at every possible angle, so good for 'em! We all gotta support the Non Woke Genre's now, ya'll!
@@Longjumping-War2484 I'm the same way, if the game is good and the devs are awesome I'll spend money if I can, tho considering the parent company is Nexon I'm gonna wait a few more months to see how things go before spending money on this game
From the official TFD discord regarding the point about the outpost farm: The line "As-is" was the original writing of the patch. "As-is: So, we would like to inform you, that we're preparing a patch without completely blocking The Fortress Outpost issue and to keep allowing players to enjoy playing like before. However, at the same time, we will update other farming locations to match the efficiency, equivalent to The Fortress Outpost." "It should be" is the correct wording. "It should be: So, we would like to inform you, that we're preparing a patch without completely blocking the Fortress Outpost issue and to keep allowing the players to enjoy playing like before. However, at the same time, we will update the Fortress - Vulgus Strategic Outpost to match the efficiency of other farming locations". Apparently this was "a misinterpretation during the translation process of the original Korean text" according to the post. Enjoy the farm while you can, because according to the clarification above, it's going to get nerfed. I can't say that I'm surprised and with how poorly the game treats the player with respecting our time, I'm going to absolutely uninstall and go find something better.
this buff would have kind of killed it. gold farming is 100% an issue with the endgame here. they need to get rid of farms like this. or really the bigger issue they need to remove the need for this. by making collosus drop rewarding rewards in exp gold and so on. and same for the dungeons and so on that are considered ingame. its fine to require a grind. but we should place that grind in the content we are supposed to be running. not failing missions to maximize resource gains and ignore the overall game itself. imo
I dunno if those Koreans speak poor English but I don't really feel like Valby run got nerf now. Maybe it's so minor that I can't feel it. But the cd change from 5min to 1min is pure awesomeness.
I doubt I'll ever be able to grind out an ultimate, but your regular should be able to be upgraded into an ultimate if you get one. I've spent a lot of upgrades on my Viessa. I'd love an ultimate, but I'd have to reinvest SO much.
The reason the timer is 5 min is because we are supposed to do shard runs between resets but barely anyone does that. The big problem is the amorphous drop rate. Doing dungeons is guaranteed and sometimes you get two and it’s almost always faster to grind than outposts unless you get extremely lucky and get 2-3 in a row
They updated in discord game notice and changed it to "However, at the same time, we will update the Fortress - Vulgus Strategic Outpost to match the efficiency of other farming locations."
What do I think? I think most people playing this game, hearing the devs' statements, are being sweet talked into thinking they're fantastic when...they've barely done anything yet!! It's hilarious! They're treating Nexon...NEXON, of all companies...like the best dev studio ever...when making promises they haven't even taken action on yet. They're just telling you "we adore our fans, we want you to love us." That's not ACTION. "Have you ever heard devs say this before?" I'm a Warframe player. Yes. I've heard such things before. And they've taken actions to prove their words. "but but they've nerfed things lol." Yes. Nerfing things is required sometimes, and I guarantee you, that's going to happen in this game, that hasn't even been out more than two to three weeks yet. Listening to content creators literally fall over themselves, crying in ecstasy over how NEXON is making these type of statements, is entirely laughable. Until you see the actual patch notes and test things, this type of jumping for joy should not be happening, because eventually a change will come that's NOT all roses and sunshine, and the playerbase is going to be pissed. Why? Because content creators are busy falling over themselves calling them the best devs ever, and the players will riot when they see changes that don't match that response. Watch what happens. They're saying they're gonna balance outposts and the Valby Run? That's never gonna happen. But they're making that claim and content creators and players are happy hearing that. They're telling you what you wanna hear.
Think another factor people ignore is Nexon basically took all the early warframe gameplay and slapped new paint on it. But at the same time they kept all the old negatives, all the improvements people pushed for in the years Nexon will be drip feeding after enough community complaints. Same thing for stuff like the cosmetics, there was no way they are not noticing feedback on 1 use paint, but they are going to milk all the lil things in this game to get money til it looks like players will complain then they will do a hot fix and say "we hear you guys so we are fixing it now".
Apart from that, the biggest problem is the constant beggers for carry in the world chat...people like that then already unlock public hard bosses like obstructor, but are way underleveled because they have been carried through, and on that level, u just cant beat a boss like that with already one player doing almost no damage and dieing all the time...I think these bosses need a DPS cap, which you need to have to be able to start a public boss mission, otherwise obstructor or molten fortress is close to impossible for solo players
It's so bad I have avoided playing obstructor or frost walker since I first beat them. Obstructor especially is nasty cause you have to first rng a bunny and then that they know what they are doing and then that your team mates won't waste all the death counts, I was easily deleting him but was failing cause no bunny or team mates dying. I ended up just going full hard carry ignoring everyone and pumping as much dmg into him as I could and then hoping they could clear orbs, if they didn't oh well on to the next within 5 tries I got past him. Frost walker was another thing however took me like 13 tries until by sheer rng I got 2 people who understood the mechanic. With molten fortress I found the majority of people know what they doing cause everyone else gets filtered out on the previous two. Only had one or two fails cause people screwed up the mechanic.
I feel like a lot of people don’t understand that it’s not a good idea to farm one item. pick and choose what you want in the game that’s available and go to multiple different locations throughout the day. just sitting there farming the one mission to get the one thing you’re trying to get to can be very repetitive go farm multiple things
My main problem is the outpost timer when waiting for it to start again when I’m trying to get patterns that won’t drop for me I’m literally wasting time for literally NOTHING
Gotta use sharen 2 morphs and a stabilizer in the loot pool and a chance at double drops also more Sharen’s = more drops so always bring 3-4 Sharen’s don’t solo farm like I did trust me took almost 36 hours total just to solo farm bunny mats and all 4 pieces
Yeah there is something really weird with their drop rates. Sometimes things operate as expected but other times either items drop way too often or not often enough to the extreme. In 15 runs for something the other day I got 6 crystallization catalysts(15%) three of which were in a row. Another time I was farming thunder cage blueprints with a 20% drop rate, but got nothing in 10 plus runs
Something I often do is run one of the other missions on the same map. Doesn't take me more than 1 1/2-3 minutes, so I think if the outpost timer is set to 2 minutes and 30 seconds on top of running other missions, I think it'll be perfect
Infiltration as sharon imo with the tedious way of having to play the mission should guarantee the infiltration reward at 100% while leaving the 20% regular reward as it is. Im taking the time to slow run all the way to the outpost instead of using bunny and load out and in of the area over and over, i should be guaranteed the reward for doing the mission arguably the hard way. Should also for the shape maybe set it to a 50% chance? I get a shape like once every hundred or so outposts which is ridiculously low
There was an update on their discord an hour after they made this post. They are NOT buffing other outposts, they are bringing the Valby run in line with the other farms. They said it was a translation issue in the original post.
I had a similar experience one day trying to get additional thundercage parts... I spent about 3 hours just trying to get the blueprint, just re-running that mission, and I eventually gave up and moved on to something else. Then on Friday, I went and decided to try to get some of the parts again, and I got a full set within 5 runs of each mission. The drops are truly randomized, and I think bashing your head against one piece of content to try to get one item will be the quickest way for you to quit playing the game. I did multiple runs of the infiltration mission to get the amorphous for Gley spiral, which has a 32 or 38% drop from that spiral. I then ran all 6 of the amorphous and got 2 of the 15% drops, and 4x of the other drop in the same tier as the Gley Spiral. I once was trying to get a 38% drop on one of the normal mode bosses, and got the 3 rarest rewards, including an Ultimate Viessa part, before I saw one of the most common drops. Random means Random. Running the quest multiple times does not impact the chance to drop, though it becomes increasingly unlikely that you don't see the reward you want the longer you go. That being said, there is never a 0% chance for you to fail.
I have gotten to the point where if I don't get what I need in three runs I try the next day cause the game gives a lot the first couple hours then bone dry the rest of the day.
tbh, I love the fact the Dev's are not ruining or nerfing any builds, farming spots, etc. It shows that they are truly listening in some aspects "Hey, you guys found a farm that gives you loads of currency and xp per hour? Here, we aren't nerfing it, but we are bringing the other farming locations up. No reason to nerf something that helps you guys." I love that about these TFD Dev's.
I’m kind of the opposite. I’m afraid the devs are going to listen too much, and then the grind will be too quick and people will lose interest of the game
They prob made lotta money off all the wallet warriors that went and got valby and prob gonna leave it alone for while to make sure all the ones who pay to win have bought her then they will kill this farm
@@darkdreems6523 that's a possibility but considering they're buffing the other locations, it sounds more like they're indirectly nerfing it by making other spots as good or better
I'm in the minority here, if you give players an easy time getting stuff they will get bored / run out of things to do and leave. This is the only game i've played where loot farms are going to get buffed and not nurfed, i don't know what the solution is or care but it just seems the devs are bowing to our every needs. I like a grind because it makes getting what i want seem worth while, besides i don't see it as a grind if i enjoy it.
Having a grind is fine. It's just some of these items are beyond that. Only got 1 ultimate bunny peice and that's all I've been doing more or less every day. It's just insanely annoying and boring farming the same missions a million times just to KNOW you aren't getting jack from cracking the amorphous. 3% is nonsense.
If you wish, you are not forced to use that farm method. So its your choice, use "easy" farm to get bored, or just grind hard to get exited. Choice is yours. I hate hard grind, I like to get best stuff quickly and then just enjoy "easy" mode gameplay, to chill out after real world challenges.
In the middle of the crowd putting the devs on a pedestal, we finally found someone with a working brain ! Even beside the ultimate version... How much valby has been sold to quickly access this gold mine already... heh. Masterclass at running a p2w game under a hero cape. They want to be "adored" lol. Interesting choice of word, considering how people are reacting right now.
Bro I was thinking this exact thing myself. When all my buddies where telling me how the devs aren't going to "nerf" it or whatever. The majority of people don't seem to be aware of the road map and even if they were wouldn't think about this. This is probably the best thing that could have happened for the devs. Ultimate valby coming out in less than a month and they will have tens of thousands of people with maxed out valby's of course they wouldn't nerf it it would financially retarted.
Having a chance to drop tle relics in the areas missions and having a high chance or guaranteed drop on the outposts would also be nice while keeping the 5min cooldown, that way you can just run rotations inside one area
i think a good addition would be to chose wich item you want from a patrern and if you dont get it - the chance of it dropping will increase every time you open it
Only thing they need to do is allow actual color customization freely. Unless we can earn it fairly consistently in the base game, it is not reasonable to not have it unlimited use and free
What part of this do you not understand? It’s a free to play game, they have to make money to keep the game/servers going and continue developing the game. If they don’t have monetization in the game, the devs make no money and the game gets shut down. No business is going to pay for a live service game and its servers/maintenance if the game isn’t making a revenue profit, it’s a business not a charity…
@usmc4good Let's highlight their monetization, shall we. Premium Currency, check. Battle Pass with Premium Option, check. Boosters, check. All characters being purchasable for real money, check. Cosmetics, almost all purchasable, check. Including individual colors. If you're going to defend over monetization, by all means, continue to do so. Warframe, being a better looking and better story driven game, and having more reasonable monetization to it such as ENTIRE color pallette that cost a single dollar to purchase, which you can also earn the Premium currency for IN-GAME through grinding and trading. And look at that game being far more successful and, at least due to my willingness to actually pay, lucrative than The First Descendant. Edit: Oh, and the fact that skins you unlock for weapons aren't universal to that weapon category. Got a nice-looking skin for an SMG? Jokes on you, it's for the Standard Tier only weapon that you'll never use because Rare and Ultimate Weapons exist and are clearly better. Then there's the fact that, oh, you bought a color for a certain character? Sure, you can reuse it. Buuuut it only applies to that singular skin, and if you want to color any other skin for the SAME character, you gotta buy the single paint again
@@Callsign_Reaper4 “Warframe being better looking…” that’s just an opinion and a matter of preference. “…and better story driven game…” that statement I’ll agree with, Warframe has a better story and flushed out lore than most games today. However, I’m not defending anything and I know you won’t agree with this and don’t want to hear it but…. “over-monetization” implies you are required to purchase items to actually play the game. You can’t “over-monetize” something if it’s not a requirement for said product. Everything thing in the game can be earned except for some cosmetic items (premium skins, makeup, etc) Just because players are too impatient to grind for the items and wait for the research doesn’t make it the games fault. All those “check-list” items you listed for TFD, news flash buddy…that’s also in Warframe, so that really makes that point invalid, because you could also quantify warframe as an “over-monetized” game as well by those standards. In reality you can’t even really compare warframe in its current state compared to this game, Warframe has been around now for 11-12 years now and has come a LONG way from it original release. You may or may not have been there when it came out, I don’t know, but I was part of both betas and original release, Warframe was a shell of what it is now… 3 frames, only a handful of weapons (I think it stared out with 9 or 10 weapons total) and 2 playable zones, and DE, the devs disregarded player feedback as common policy. It took them years to start listening to player concerns and feedback. At first they didn’t have any monetization either, not as we know it and they nearly went under several times. TFD launched with 1000 times more content than Warframe and has hit the ground running….Warframe took years to build up to what it is today, so of course it’s gonna be a more “flushed out and polished” game, that’s just common sense. Is TFD “heavily-monetized”? Yes, just like Warframe. Is any of it a “requirement”? No, just like Warframe. Are purchases in warframe “cheaper”? Yes, but they are still there. We will see how the economy evolves in TFD, based on player feedback and willingness to purchase said items…if players refuse to buy things from the shop, Nexon may just lower prices to incentivize player purchases, only time will tell. Criticizing this game for being “over-monetized”, while praising a game that employs the same monetization scheme is just showing your hypocrisy and bias.
Het Tux, always great to hear your take(s). Glad you come across to TFD! Hope you stick around; especially, while Div.2 needs to get past its unasked for seasonal characters season! Have fun!
I remember Destiny had a system to up the % on next drop if you didn't get it, everytime till you get it. You could use the wishlist and is the only way to make rng still fair
Perhaps the worst part of the outpost timer is that many required resources are tied to the outposts, and they only drop from the final boss, meaning you have to clear it. On top of waiting for it to reset, apparently they don't even always drop the resource. I was trying to get the batteries for building a Viessa part, which only drop from 2 hard mode outposts in Sterile Lands. I needed about 40 more, and the first 3 runs I did dropped none of the resource. Then, when they did drop, it dropped in amounts between 3 and 5. I ended up having 9 runs that gave me none of the battery resource I needed. If there's RNG tied to those drops as well, it needs to be documented like everything else is.
best way to get those mats is in hard mode, they drop in bigger numbers, & you could if you’re strong enough, play them in private mode & teleport to different lands & back to reset the timer
i think you should farm the outpost now so when the void fragment improvments hit you can go straight to farming those so you can get cracking to see how it feels
6:35 this is what i was saying for the last 8-10 days, i saw a whole bunch of videos say it's "guarantee" it's "100% work", but it's not most of the time the cooldown went from 5 mins to 3 mins. so when i talk about changing the timer for outpost on reddit, ppl come in act like expert "have you try the outpost hop? like other players" i was like no point talking to those....
All pattern should be doable even without to relay on a sharon!! i need pattern 113 but no wait i need a sharon to MAYBE get that pattern 113 ... the pattern should be given at minimum 50-70% chance both of them!!! .. and if i have like 20 pattern i want to open at least 5 per run not only 1 and do all the process over and over again ... the residue for example should be given at the named locations not only vaults! and pattern from dungeons should be given at higher number like 3-5 not only 1 per run this is so annoying to do a low level instance over and over again for x1 pattern. it is not rewarding it is annoying.
I love grinding if it's fun and rewarding. I find it more fun to grind AM patterns from dungeon and open it from intercept boss if available. Outpost is fast but AM patterns from outpost doesn't drop regularly unlike hard dungeon. Its fun to fight those boses and clearing the dungeon for me.
thats how i feel when farming ult bunny and gley, the time cooldown and rng % is not matching on effort . it feels like its not worth it when time passes , and i get tired and stop for awhile .
honestly the other issue after this latest patch seems like anything above 15% you get better drops especially for what you are looking for however anything below 15% seems to have horrible drop rates. sadly I hope the devs fix the drop rate issue and the cool down should be at most 2 to 3min. also there needs to be fail safe in case if you can't get the item to drop after a certain period of time. that to me is the other issue since it still seems like the drop rate for some people are great and others not so much. the issue is what is the too much of a grind for ultimates descendants for casual player? or anything descendants below 15% for normal/difficult? that is also the big issue since nexon is known for this issue.
Building my Ult Gley with 5 forma was a pain without this farm so I’m glad they keep it. Easy MR farm to, leveling up all the guns. Brother your valby build needs love, without activators or catalysts i have almost 95% uptime.
I'm getting tired and bored from farming and not getting the item I'm looking for but 3 or 4 of the same items 1 after the other and descendants parts behind boss battles but limit the time to farm them not as good as when I played the beta I can't even use the paints on my character unless I pay for an overpriced skin I'd buy items if they weren't so expensive
I try to find amorphous that have only things that I need. That way I never get what I don't want :P. Feels like the only way to approach a looter game without trading - farm everything at the same time and only target farm to finish stuff I really want when they're almost finished from the general farming. E.g., I never farmed for ult gley and I have 3/4 parts. I may go for that 4th now or I may even wait till it just drops at some point in the future randomly (since it's a 6%, a target farm may be too long for my taste and I still have a lot of other things I want anyway). I'm sure it will get frustrating getting the last things out there, but that part of the game is still weeks or months away :).
i never found a need to farm gold or Kuiper. as i grind for stuff i usually have plenty of gold there to craft whatever i need at the time and enough Kuiper to level mods. i think most drop rates are good. it shouldn't be too easy. only thing that really needs to change is the drop rate of code breakers and have it so if you fail it when you open a vault it should still give you resources just less. it sucks to farm for hours just to fail the vault and end up with nothing
Need one last part or ult Ajax and it’s locked behind either beating frost walker with randoms, or a back to back rng wall that requires 4 minutes before the first rng chance.
At what part do you talk about Ultimate changes ? I get it, your new and want to build your channel but guess what ? making videos that get stright to the point or adding time stamp will get you better outcomes... You spent over 7mins talking about the XP farm which could of been spent talking about what you Titled this Video
This game has just had a home run after a home run they have been doing a great job and this is why I love this game. I have left division 2 for this game, and I will only go back to play with my friends, but I'll come right back to the first descendant.
Inlove your thought process on this but what if the make the cool down time longer and shorten the amount of time it takes to complete the mission I saw timer count down so what if they take away the amount of time you have to farm so if it a 10min mission and turn it into a 10- 5 min mission 😅
This issue is something every game has but I’m not sure any devs understand. It’s not the players power leveling, it’s that “power leveling” is a symbol of a deeper problem is all. I hope a game dev finally gets it.
This game is such a grind, however, there are things that keep motivating me to keep playing. First it was modules, than new Descendents, etc. I'm dreading the process of installing Catalysts though. Using them SHOULD NOT reset your gun or descendent to LVL 1, just so you can repeat the process.
That's how it's been in Warframe for years, and it's not much of an issue there; it's only an issue now because we're all still getting new stuff all the time and leveling it up all the time, but as people complete that catalogue, it becomes less of an issue In a few weeks when everyone has every weapon and descendant maxed out, it'll just be an afterthought that only comes up when you get/use your daily catalyst (assuming you don't pay to skip craft time); you'd only have to level up one weapon/character a day which would go very quick, and will only get quicker as more people get better builds The XP grind is definitely quite slow, but as more and more people get better and more efficient builds, I think it'll become less of an issue long term
You're still ahead in capacity after the catalyst installation though, so the lvl doesn't matter (and after mr19 it doesn't matter at all for weapons since you already start at max capacity). As for descendants, late game modules give enough stats to not care about the small loss in stats from reset to lvl1 (mana is only found on sensor so do always keep one for leveling descendants that care about mana). Just don't take the lvl1 straight to the hardest boss fight you have access to and it's not a bother at all.
I've opened 50 amorphous intercept battle, and get 0 "formas" blueprint... it's very wierd because 15% is huge percentage for me, I play black desert and I know how easy to enhance an item with 15% when it costs soo much resource.
Even if they didn't change the time of reset another fix could be where the time is set n not based on which server yu joined that way yu could 2-3 different n do a full circle n not have the reset timer being random
I just want to take some time out to say this devs are a gift from god no other devs ever ver do things like this for the benefit of their player base these guys have learned from their mistakes and are absolutely amazing this horse to show we can not judge a book by its cover just because of their best these guys deserve our utmost support for they have been phenomenal in what they have been doing thank you Devs 🎉❤
It's hard to believe in todays gaming world, that there are still companies out there that seem to actually appreciate their customers. Nexon has made that list. This kind of stuff gives everyone a good feeling about what this game could become. As for the timer, I'd like around 2 minutes really. 1 minute would be a dream, but I think the timer is there to give people a chance to clear their inventories and the field between battles. What I think they'll do is cut it down to 2.5 to 3 minutes. We shall see soon, probably by Thursday at the latest.
They should do 2x weekend "events" where you get double kuiper and gold or exp, I think it would help make the community happier with griding and keep people from having to find the monotonous tasks to do for hours on end
The main issue I have with this game is that you need to farm 15plus times for one martial to make one of four or six pieces to be able to research something then you still need to wait
Happy to see you covering this game! A two minute cooldown seems pretty reasonable to me, this was one of my biggest complaints about the game as well as some pretty low drop rates.
Make a timer on boss spawns and those who try to beat timer dont recieve drops or exp from zone for 5 min if they fail they fail the event or set exp cash and drops to all fall once the task is done and the boss is beating.
I'm solely focusing on the Descendants that require Sharen exclusive Amorphous materials. This is the most tedious luck based part of the game. I enjoy repeating Infiltration operation and Void Fragments more than this. The annoying thing about outposts is ur forced to do this solo for efficiency and Sharen isn't tanky so once u fail gotta restart all over again.
@@martakarolinazmyslowska6903because randos will alert the enemies or destroy the consoles, making you unable to get the amorphous locked behind stealth completion Sure if you use external recruiting methods for a proper team it's fine, but randos will kill your farm
Outposts also get kind of bugged when randoms get spotted. The mobs just don't reset. It becomes faster to just complete the outposts than having to deaggro to try to hack it.
People are saying the drops are random, but if that case, then why have a percentage on them? i never played warframe or distiny, but i do understand the grind mechanics. When it comes to the drop rates, i believe it set that way due to the game being seasonal
I feel like with the rng if you were to imagine it like a wheel, once you've spun the needle and it lands on a reward I believe the game is programmed to reset the needle to its original starting position and that's why the drops feel very repetitive and consistent
My friend trytto get the catalist/formafromwarframe and he has done 20 relics and got nothing for it. I suggested doing harder relicts well see. I haven't try to get those im trying to get bunny ultimate and have 6 formas and I keep getting more. It's RNG
So this is probably the first game where I've been RNG carried, two weeks flat to get both 3/4ths of ult viessa, and finish ult gley.. I get lucky on the drops from the Amp mats, but getting the Amp mats from the outposts is 9x harder for me.. I would say reasonably they should at least half the duration if not more, a minute and a half CD would be ideal but also too ambitious of an ask this early on in the cycle.
The main reason I think Nexon is keeping this farm going is the fact that ultimate valby is just around the corner. This farm could make players want to spend the money on her to get her sooner to take advantage of the farm right away.
The catalyst and energy activator drop arent accessible enough those drop rates and resource acquisition is tedious . Also, only reason amorphous pattern/ fissures work on warframe is because we choose from 1 of 4 players rewards so chances are effectively boosted. Even if the game is fun and unique it’s pretty sad the that within 3 weeks people just opted to pay for ultimate descendants than earn it. Options are too restricted with f2p
Update from future Tux: the devs came back several days after the discussion post to retract their statement saying they will buff outpost drop rate to match the fortress, devs 0:03 saying that was a translation error. 🤦♂️

I miss the old way void keys
What makes it more painful besides the timer is that majority of the time you getting nothing but duplicates that you can't do anything with especially if its a descendants or weapons you already have making it feel you wasting your time

Alot of your problems here are solvable by just setting your world in private. Yes not all wants to play the game solo but its a solution.
You can really do them stealthy?
1 min to 2 mins seems more reasonable to me,3 mins just feels to close to what we already have an especially when me an many live seen can go days without getting a single material for what we need it needs to be pretty fast with a cool down to make it not easy but not also extremely annoying to farm, grinding is ok but right now outposts dont feel like a grind,it feels like a job,a boring one at that an ive gree up from when i got my first ps3 playing grinding games like defiance for example, that had a tough grind but nothing like this game

From the official TFD discord regarding the point about the outpost farm:
The line "As-is" was the original writing of the patch.
"As-is: So, we would like to inform you, that we're preparing a patch without completely blocking The Fortress Outpost issue and to keep allowing players to enjoy playing like before. However, at the same time, we will update other farming locations to match the efficiency, equivalent to The Fortress Outpost."
"It should be" is the correct wording.
Tbf Viessa's the worst ultimate, so you don't lose anything if you already invested into base viessa
Yeah I have done 10 in a row without Material drop

Sanest take. UA-camrs be youtubing until something happens, and they will be like "D: who would have thought??"
It’s all designed to pedal the hamster wheel
Couldn’t get into warframe or destiny.
Can’t stop playing tfd
Except they already patched things that players complained about.
You think that's the problem with world chat? People lfg? And not the constant spam?
What would be Nice is having to beat the bosses solo before public is allowed (or have a weapon dps cap to join for non solo bosses)

I feel like 50% would be fair its a looter shooter if we get everything quickly then game drops off
Gotta use sharen 2 morphs and a stabilizer in the loot pool and a chance at double drops also more Sharen’s = more drops so always bring 3-4 Sharen’s don’t solo farm like I did trust me took almost 36 hours total just to solo farm bunny mats and all 4 pieces
@@JackRipperiscoming if they reduce the cooldown to zero, having 4 sharens, each one in each hack would be an awesome farm
Did you tried with Sharen ?w?
I used to get them almost back to back. Now im lucky if i get one in 10-20 runs
i agree, if u need sharen especifically to do this, they need to upgrade the chances with steath, just like enzo just cheese vaults
There was an update on their discord an hour after they made this post. They are NOT buffing other outposts, they are bringing the Valby run in line with the other farms. They said it was a translation issue in the original post.

Have not put a thing in mine either. Her ult drops next month. Nit wasting resource on a normal lol
I spent ten hours today just trying to get two parts for Enzo and one for the thundercage and never got a single one.
That's crazy
You’re doing it wrong.
I have gotten to the point where if I don't get what I need in three runs I try the next day cause the game gives a lot the first couple hours then bone dry the rest of the day.
I get it ... 45 run for a 25% drop ... That Is a 0.06% probability to happen 😂
tbh, I love the fact the Dev's are not ruining or nerfing any builds, farming spots, etc.

This is the only game i've played where loot farms are going to get buffed and not nurfed, i don't know what the solution is or care but it just seems the devs are bowing to our every needs. I like a grind because it makes getting what i want seem worth while, besides i don't see it as a grind if i enjoy it.
You are not the minority it's just that the people that complain about it just don't stop complaining
You call farming 40 hours and getting zero Ultimate Bunny parts an easy time?
If you wish, you are not forced to use that farm method. So its your choice, use "easy" farm to get bored, or just grind hard to get exited. Choice is yours. I hate hard grind, I like to get best stuff quickly and then just enjoy "easy" mode gameplay, to chill out after real world challenges.
That ultimate valbey is coming out. The fortress farm is going to make them money.
True that.
Ultimate valby coming out in less than a month and they will have tens of thousands of people with maxed out valby's of course they wouldn't nerf it it would financially retarted.
it was true if they just not nerf it, but they are buffing other locations too... so its kinda win-win for me
Finally got my bunny code at the cost of my sanity and this farm has helped me gain levels quickly.
outpost reset need to be short like the void fragment, 30 secs to check mission result then reset.
@@usmc4good What part don't YOU understand. Basic customization should be baseline you derp 😂 smh
@@Callsign_Reaper4cry some more kid
@@Callsign_Reaper4 “Warframe being better looking…” that’s just an opinion and a matter of preference.
“…and better story driven game…” that statement I’ll agree with, Warframe has a better story and flushed out lore than most games today.
However, I’m not defending anything and I know you won’t agree with this and don’t want to hear it but….
“over-monetization” implies you are required to purchase items to actually play the game.
You can’t “over-monetize” something if it’s not a requirement for said product.
Everything thing in the game can be earned except for some cosmetic items (premium skins, makeup, etc)
Just because players are too impatient to grind for the items and wait for the research doesn’t make it the games fault.
You may or may not have been there when it came out, I don’t know, but I was part of both betas and original release, Warframe was a shell of what it is now…
3 frames, only a handful of weapons (I think it stared out with 9 or 10 weapons total) and 2 playable zones, and DE, the devs disregarded player feedback as common policy.
Usually my pattern has become Outpost > 2 Shards > Outpost > 2 Shards then going reactor every once a while so those 5 minutes go.
i think you should farm the outpost now so when the void fragment improvments hit you can go straight to farming those so you can get cracking to see how it feels
Over the last two days ive had several farming runs where I get the same item out of an AM 5/6 openings. Kinda shitty. But I'll keep trying on them.
thats how i feel when farming ult bunny and gley, the time cooldown and rng % is not matching on effort . it feels like its not worth it when time passes , and i get tired and stop for awhile .
Why is it so hard to get Shape Stablizers. The drop chance for them is extremely low.
honestly the other issue after this latest patch seems like anything above 15% you get better drops especially for what you are looking for however anything below 15% seems to have horrible drop rates. sadly I hope the devs fix the drop rate issue and the cool down should be at most 2 to 3min. also there needs to be fail safe in case if you can't get the item to drop after a certain period of time. that to me is the other issue since it still seems like the drop rate for some people are great and others not so much. the issue is what is the too much of a grind for ultimates descendants for casual player? or anything descendants below 15% for normal/difficult? that is also the big issue since nexon is known for this issue.
Building my Ult Gley with 5 forma was a pain without this farm so I’m glad they keep it. Easy MR farm to, leveling up all the guns.
Brother your valby build needs love, without activators or catalysts i have almost 95% uptime.
Enjoy with while it lasts, the just said that it was a translation error and they're going to actually nerf it while not buffing any other outpost
I have left division 2 for this game, and I will only go back to play with my friends, but I'll come right back to the first descendant.
what do you think the cooldown should be on Outposts?
1 minute tops.
1 minutes
0
@@thrudgelmir5494 3-5 minutes to prevent area hogging and force people to make a circuit with all available missions.
3 min seems fair you dont want it too easy because then players stop playing when they complete everything before new content comes out .
That’s how warframe does it and nobody complains, I don’t think it’s a big issue as long as these XP farms exist so we can get them up to max quick.
Took me 2.5 hours to level from brand new to 40, that includes looking up a workable mod setup, using Kingston and Sterile Lands exp farms.
@@chrisleonard2908 farm the outpost in Fortress: Defense Line, I went from lvl. 1 to 40 in 30-40 min
That's how it's been in Warframe for years, and it's not much of an issue there; it's only an issue now because we're all still getting new stuff all the time and leveling it up all the time, but as people complete that catalogue, it becomes less of an issue
In a few weeks when everyone has every weapon and descendant maxed out, it'll just be an afterthought that only comes up when you get/use your daily catalyst (assuming you don't pay to skip craft time); you'd only have to level up one weapon/character a day which would go very quick, and will only get quicker as more people get better builds
The XP grind is definitely quite slow, but as more and more people get better and more efficient builds, I think it'll become less of an issue long term
Not enough.
The drop rates in this game is insanely bad
I've opened 50 amorphous intercept battle, and get 0 "formas" blueprint... it's very wierd because 15% is huge percentage for me, I play black desert and I know how easy to enhance an item with 15% when it costs soo much resource.
it should be 30 damn seconds off the top
I feel that I am this close to the the fallen ultimate wep but that polymer synth never drop I keep getting poison module😵😵😵😤😤
I think around 2-3 minutes max
It's hard to believe in todays gaming world, that there are still companies out there that seem to actually appreciate their customers. Nexon has made that list. This kind of stuff gives everyone a good feeling about what this game could become.
As for the timer, I'd like around 2 minutes really. 1 minute would be a dream, but I think the timer is there to give people a chance to clear their inventories and the field between battles. What I think they'll do is cut it down to 2.5 to 3 minutes. We shall see soon, probably by Thursday at the latest.
I just got my Ultimate Gley by Grinding for almost 2 days 10 hours a day
Jesus christ.. you okay man?
ive been having hard time on 2 bprints for ult viessa. ugh
Ult Ves I just need one more part from 108 or 70 from the void boss ugh, but got 3 parts in a couple hours. Good luck yall!!
Hope you had some entertaining videos playing on the side
@@hellaflawsnothing wrong with it. Real question is are YOU ok?
They should do 2x weekend "events" where you get double kuiper and gold or exp, I think it would help make the community happier with griding and keep people from having to find the monotonous tasks to do for hours on end
Most people don't understand the drop rate but imo the stats are based on each mission not the total missions you do to get the item.
Neon is definitely earing back some goodwill, but we will see in the long run.
After getting shafted by Bungi every other patch for the last 10 years this is amazing!
House of the Dragon music inn the BG??
Make a timer on boss spawns and those who try to beat timer dont recieve drops or exp from zone for 5 min if they fail they fail the event or set exp cash and drops to all fall once the task is done and the boss is beating.
R and g low drop rates clever move to get you buy ultimate
R and G? 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Fail
I'm solely focusing on the Descendants that require Sharen exclusive Amorphous materials.
This is the most tedious luck based part of the game.
I enjoy repeating Infiltration operation and Void Fragments more than this.
The annoying thing about outposts is ur forced to do this solo for efficiency and Sharen isn't tanky so once u fail gotta restart all over again.
Why do you have to do it solo to be effective?? Don't see any difference between doing alone or with random players.
@@martakarolinazmyslowska6903because randos will alert the enemies or destroy the consoles, making you unable to get the amorphous locked behind stealth completion
Sure if you use external recruiting methods for a proper team it's fine, but randos will kill your farm
@@martakarolinazmyslowska6903because random players just rush in instead of letting the sharen do the infiltration
Outposts also get kind of bugged when randoms get spotted. The mobs just don't reset. It becomes faster to just complete the outposts than having to deaggro to try to hack it.
Bro I'm on 50 amorphous material all I need to research is the ultimate lepic code and. Nothing. Had 4 form stabilizers as well.
The Game is definitely on the road to the top with the understanding devs, but will it stay?
People are saying the drops are random, but if that case, then why have a percentage on them? i never played warframe or distiny, but i do understand the grind mechanics. When it comes to the drop rates, i believe it set that way due to the game being seasonal
i had a better drop chance on the infiltrations with sharen adding all 3 timers then infiltrate, has a better chance?
I wish the division devs pivoted on community feedback as fast as this one
I feel like with the rng if you were to imagine it like a wheel, once you've spun the needle and it lands on a reward I believe the game is programmed to reset the needle to its original starting position and that's why the drops feel very repetitive and consistent
Where is this at
My friend trytto get the catalist/formafromwarframe and he has done 20 relics and got nothing for it. I suggested doing harder relicts well see. I haven't try to get those im trying to get bunny ultimate and have 6 formas and I keep getting more. It's RNG
I'm at 50m gold now and 4 mil shards *used over 1 mil of shares for upgrades*
It is easier to get the hardest thing in the game then to get a eagle bear in the dark zone been trying to get that for months ...
Wait, what am I doing wrong?? I've been playing for days and only at 23...
Why is there a Gears character in thumbnail?
The catalyst and energy activator drop arent accessible enough those drop rates and resource acquisition is tedious . Also, only reason amorphous pattern/ fissures work on warframe is because we choose from 1 of 4 players rewards so chances are effectively boosted. Even if the game is fun and unique it’s pretty sad the that within 3 weeks people just opted to pay for ultimate descendants than earn it. Options are too restricted with f2p
I’m just trying to get the blueprint for divine punishment but the drop is bad
Shape stablyzers need a drop buff 2 barely get 1 and still get the wrong drops from patterns
If there's one thing they need to fix, it's the shield and get it buffed up. It's almost unnecessary to acquire.
