My 17 year old daughter had a stalker who became a murderer. She had once been his girlfriends friend and she had flatted with them but he was obsessed with my daughter and tried to corner her on many occasions. She was scared of him. She came home to live with me and he got into our house several times. The first time we didn't have a cell phone but I had a deadlock on the inside of my bedroom door. My daughter shook me awake at 3.30am to tell me someone was in the house. We locked ourselves in my room but the phone was up the hallway near the kitchen where he was rummaging in the drawers. After we heard him leave we called the police who came out with a dog who tracked him to where a car had been parked just a few hundred yards from our house and we had heard it roar away. Next time he got in I had a cell phone, and we were again locked in my room at 3am. He heard us talking to the police and took off. I got a huge bullmastiff as a guard dog but this bastard got in again when I took the dog out for a walk. So we knew he was watching the house. The cops got him in the end after he left a pair of boots hidden in our garden and his DNA was in them. By this time he was out on bail for the manslaughter of a girl who had rejected him (it was first degree murder - the victim told people he was going to kill her and he did). Also while on bail he beat to death a neighbour's 2 year old daughter, who also had terrible sexual injuries. He got life in prison, but that's who was stalking my daughter.

I hope that this case helped to convince various police departments across counties, states and countries (!) to work together and not consider themselves in competition with each other. This will only lead to holding back information in order to “be the one who catches the killer”. And ultimately this will allow the perps to continue what they do longer. Wouldn’t it be better to share the success across borders?
This guy was a cop at the time of the attacks right? So that means to say that not one investigating detective or fellow police officer cottoned on to the fact that this guy was never on duty whenever there was an attack?
or that the attacks stopped around the same time he left the force. just the fact there were so many crimes w/o an arrest implies the perp had insider knowledge. in other words, a cop.

In his booking photo it appears he had some sort of band-aid on the top of his head, after viewing his court room appearance in the wheel chair you can see the top of his head has some freshly healed bloody scab! Perhaps there was some scuffle when the arresting officers grabbed him in his house.
Apparently JJD rammed his head into the cell doors in custody. Maybe as a pathetic suicide attempt. It's also why he was cuffed to the chair and out of it.
I noticed that as well.. You can also see the old scar over his right eyebrow, like the one in the old police sketch. His nose is also identical to that sketch...

I'm sorry, but the husband whose wife was raped, just how much did he fight to try and prevent the rape,I would have died to protect my wife from such an attack.
"Anxious residents buy guns" and think of ways to protect themselves. The reality few in the media seem to mention now: Guns preserve and protect life and property. Unfortunately none of his victims used one on him!
I personally believe that all LEO's need to have their DNA checked through the database when first hired and at intervals when there are cases like this ongoing. EDIT: If they won't agree to it then they lose the gun and the badge and the pension.
For individuals with so many insane crimes and who have avoided justice so far, he should just be tortured and then fried. Send him up to the FBI/CIA to practice their torture techniques. Make him wish he had been caught sooner and just spent life in prison. Make him regret every moment he had free after committing those atrocious crimes.

Bunch of children......she didn't write the book before he was arrested, you ridiculous, infantile, pinheads. She wrote the book a year before anyone had a clue who he was......read dumbasses, read.
What a clueless, in intelligent idiot you are..... read the book pinhead
Cyanide laced poison eh? Seems a bit redundant but okay...
lol...yeah that U.S. education...
Glad someone made the comment. Thanks.
@@genghiskhan802What's the deal with your grammar, sir?
A week before he was arrested he was riding his motorcycle on the freeway at 100 mph...don;t let the wheelchair fool you...his neighbours say he was physically good and active
didnt they ever check places where you can buy ski masks
People say he couldn't be Zodiac because DNA..Well they didn't have Zodiac DNA to match!!
Then they say he was overseas..Again WRONG!!
Deployed in sept 64 back July 66 before Zodiac Murders started!!
Then people say he didnt know the area..how the fuck do you that??
He has the exact MO..and his movement and actions were 100% the same!!I dont see any proof that it wasnt him
The Electric chair is the only solution to stop does criminals.
Not really. The death penalty hasn't stopped people from killing.
Does...? Spelling isn't your strength is it?
wow paul holes is awesome
And if he had a daughter who wanted to go into adult films, she wouldn't even need an alias.
Someone's hot for Holes 😂
Damn, imagine finding out your husband, dad is a notorious killer 😬
Then he acts deaf dumb and stupid in the court room, and suddenly he can’t walk.
Hes the night stalker. Before Richard Ramirez.
Yup he was called original night stalker
All credit should go to the Australian DNA genealogist that showed and help them solve this case in 4 months.
Much respect to Paul.. u r so inspiring
Brown's been the goovenore this long, and y'all wondered why this murderer's gotten away so long!
they said he was hung like a mouse😂😂
👮📢I was in the pool
Michael Mc but he sure had some big balls.
Some people evening turning in there neighbors because they think hes the rapist, talk about not liking your neighbor 😂😂
what are they waiting for?? so he can live the rest of his life eating free food? put him down! he doesn't worth another breath!
Hooman st Agree it scary that u can't even trust Cops. No more then regular ppl
That investigator who came up with idea of GenMatch is brilliant, thanks to him so many cases have now been solved not just this one.
You got him Michelle!
Cyanide laced poison...
That's... Kind of redundant tbh...
Make no mistake. He is the definition of evil people. This man's anger was only controlled buy him letting this steam off on his own time. He needed to have control and went to the extreme to get it.
Who has time to drink beer while committing a crime? Seems a little to weird for me!😕
What I don't get about the States is that if this had happened in Texas this guy would have been on death row. But because it happened in California he could end up with life imprisonment. I don't get it.
Dude even the toolbox killers will die of old age because that state has people fighting the death penalty to save people like these sickos. I say we should torture these fuckers id lose no sleep in doing that job just to make the them pay some for the horrific crimes they committed I still have dreams about the toolbox killers and the recording of them torturing a little girl on tape it makes me breakdown after waking up even though this happened long before I was born. My heart breaks for them
Who's the victim now? Lmao lol not me.
Omg imagine if he had stopped around 30 they never would’ve found him even with advance of technology
It usually is a police officer or a military person who does these kinds of crimes, because they know how the police work.
A movie should be made of this nightmare.
All government employees have to be required to submit their DNA into the data bank.
When they refuse you have to suspect wrongdoing.
In his booking photo it appears he had some sort of band-aid on the top of his head, after viewing his court room appearance in the wheel chair you can see the top of his head has some freshly healed bloody scab! Perhaps there was some scuffle when the arresting officers grabbed him in his house.
Believe it or not, it was reported he was arrested outside his home by undercover officers who pretended to ask for directions.

Oh thanks, interesting, where did you see that info?
It was on one of the earons boards. It was some inside info. given to a poster from police. Of course it hasn't been confirmed publicly.
Look at how incapacitated he looks in his orange jumpsuit. He is a former cop too. Wow!
She says “the answer is out there” (10:19)
But actually she should have said “the answer is in here”
It was an ex cop
Why does this look like it was film in the 1990s
11:46 investigators are not revealing exactly how they finally got his DNA. In 60 minutes, they tell us they went through his trash and obtained it.
Correction: Michelle Mcnamera
People. Just buying guns doesn't mean you're safe. You must practice with it and have a plan of attack when someone breaks in.
OMG how scary 😭😭😭
I'm not sure you can punish someone who doesn't know where they are.
Are they saying they had his DNA that whole time but they just didnt have a DNA match in their database?
How in the name of God 10 people press thumbs down to such important information in this video???!!! Are you 10 people supporting rapists & killers? Are you OK if GOD FORBIDS this would have happened to you or your family??!!! SMH that people ignorance has no limits!!! PERIOD
Why the fuck did they mention the NFL? That was stupid. "All these deaths. Oh. And the NFL went through changes." The fuck? Way to downplay the victims. That was tasteless.
I believe he is also the zodiac killer. Same time frame and state. The golden state killer constantly changed his mo.
I would loooove to see his trophy cabinet.
Skip to 10:23 for the newer info on how he was caught.
The zodiac killer and the golden state killer cases are so similar
If you study it, n d END u.d see some of his tactics, think or resemble some POLICE👮or law enforcement TRNG.s..
Enter HOMES.. unnoticed.. stealthy..
Knows each area.
The horrible nature of his crimes must mean that the remainder of his life should be spent in a maximum security prison. These prisons are like hell on earth. Solitary confinement for 23 hrs a day and one hour in an exercise pen per day every day.
I'm sorry, but the husband whose wife was raped, just how much did he fight to try and prevent the rape,I would have died to protect my wife from such an attack.
My question is why
"Anxious residents buy guns" and think of ways to protect themselves. The reality few in the media seem to mention now: Guns preserve and protect life and property. Unfortunately none of his victims used one on him!
No can we find Jack the RIpper ? So we can finally get some rest.
He must have hid the momentum he took somewhere. Need to find them bad. He would never part with them. He couldn't.
Yo I'm more concerned about if he participated in the defence protocols as a police officer.
Terrible police work, bad communication. Never should’ve took this long.
I personally believe that all LEO's need to have their DNA checked through the database when first hired and at intervals when there are cases like this ongoing.
EDIT: If they won't agree to it then they lose the gun and the badge and the pension.
All his female victims had something in common... The were all smoking fucking hot. Dude was a bastard, glad they finally got him.
He was a police officer. Amazingly will educated in law enforcement procedures and tied into every investigation. No wonder he got away with it.
Syanide laced poison??
No one had dogs back than
For individuals with so many insane crimes and who have avoided justice so far, he should just be tortured and then fried. Send him up to the FBI/CIA to practice their torture techniques. Make him wish he had been caught sooner and just spent life in prison. Make him regret every moment he had free after committing those atrocious crimes.
I don't how he managed to be a cop and still stalk people and then commit brutal rapes waste did he get the time???
Heather Simpson but he's still a cop! And that only happened because of the prefix they used to add to his last name haha! And remember: there are more dentists named Denise than Lawyers and more lawyers named Larry than Denise lmao!!
Mikhail popkov aka werewolf is even worse with 80+ victims. He was also a cop.
12:27 ohhh do I have a certain group of people that rhyme with "teminists" for you.
I can’t stand keminists
I heard in the current affair that he killed and is charged for 13 murders but I heard 12 here.. What is going on... How can they mistake the number... So who is correct.??????
It's obvious he killed someone and took over their identity.
I bet he wouldn't have tried that with OJ SIMPSON... If anyone going to kill his wife. It's gonna be him! Lol
