Thank you for addressing lead in the soil! I live in a house built in 1927 with a porch that was in bad repair, flaking paint everywhere...I am trying to research bioremediation to rehabilitate that soil close to the house but am content to plant edibles more than 10 feet away from the house for now. Love your videos and your way of approaching permaculture. Thanks for sharing your deep knowledge with us.
So glad you started making videos again. Would you be able to cover plant spacing and garden planning. Your garden looks so lush and full but how did you fit all your trees bushes etc? Do you plan what to grow each year and where?
When you say get 2 different varieties in bloom at the same time - can you talk more about that? Also the early, mid, and late blooming (producing?), can you talk more about that? I think that all applies to more than just blueberries. As a total newbie who is planning to plant a mini food forest soon, a video about that would help a lot. :)
I just found your channel! I’m so close to you in location & honesty it’s nice to find someone who is in my area & I can get advice from on gardening tips! I’ve been gardening for a long time but am just now putting in blueberries & more vegetables & our climate is so very different than most! I have a large herb & flower garden & somehow my garden has flourished, but when it comes to our food I’ve been much more picky about - but I have been more picky with my herb garden as well. Anyways I just subscribed, thank you for all the information, so very helpful especially for this area! Looking forward to watching everything else you have up, always love watching & learning from fellow gardeners!
What do you mean blueberries don't like to be transplanted? What happens if you do? I transplanted mine and it got only like 10 blueberries this year. Should I give up on it or wait another year to see if it will bloom?
Coming back to this video as I now have garden space for berries!

Crumbled shale deposits through which roads are cut. Mix with your soil.
