I wasn’t into competitive Pokémon but you have to give credit to Pokémon scarlet and violet for making getting into competitive Pokémon so much easier
Right?? I feel like this game forced you to because your team just would work and it helped you learn on at least understanding the fundamentals of a competitive team!
I loved the indigo disk, especially all the references to Unova! Love this vid :)

You gotta give props for letting Kieran have a great competitive viable team
But the issue not giving the player restriction like the actual rules of vgc or just giving him lv 100 Pokémon
That’s why my lil cousin steam rolled him with 2 garchomp a while using Koraidon
Way to ruin a mood when I used a new team tested on ladder with ogerpon
Edit :Also they should’ve showed more usage of speed control , trick room , status conditions , and importantly protect

I agree!! Drayton was the only one I had trouble with, the other elite 4 & Kieran were push overs compared to the random trainer NPCs you run into around the terrarium!! While they’re teams may have been thought out in their synergy the battle plans were still very shallow and merely scratch the surface of what can be done with competitive teams :c but thank you so much for commenting!! Honestly, the end of The Indigo Disk was just as great as The Paradise Protection Protocol locking down your Pokeballs.
Though the fact the end rewards were not mentioned was a crime. No more needing to recharge your Tera Orb and Flying Ride Pokemon was a pleasent surprise.
If it wasn’t for the whole Time Machine thing during that fight, I would almost say that the final battle in the Indigo Disk was more hype 🤔 but agreed!!

genuinely the dlc packs for sword and shield, then scarlet & violet have been some of the most enjoyable pokemon content i've ever played. I resent everyone who says they're "scummy" or "just a cashgrab" when they happily buy the entire game all over again because it added *less* content. Seriously, everyone who gasses emerald and platinum but complains about the dlc needs to take a long, cold shower
Agreed! (Except for the resentment 👀) I used to the miss the directors cuts and to some extent I still do but the future of renewed Pokémon content is in the form of these DLCS and these passed 2 generations have been killing it! Thanks for sharing c:
personally these two DLC are better than than Gen 1 to 4, good and non repetitive story, exciting fights and unique legendaries
