    Dear Bjørn and Halldis, I listened to your interview on the radio a few days ago, then again this morning, I then found this video on UA-cam and have subscribed to your channel. I cannot wait for your next video! You touched my heart and you ignited something inside me that I never thought I had in me... You two are wonderful human beings, much respect and admiration your way I send!

    Dear Bjørn and Halldis, congrats for your achievement. You have the courage to follow your dream and establishing this incredible vineyard and winemaking in Norway. When you speak we can feel your passion. I also have a small Vineyard and still have lots to learn, but I hope to increase year by year my number of vines, and for sure I will follow your amazing journey, keep this young spirit.

    If I remember correctly, we here in Fairbanks, Alaska are also 61 degrees lat. My wife loves grapes, so I'm researching whether we can grow grapes here. Because we are in Interior Alaska, it gets very cold this far north, although the last few years it has been warmer which we are in favor of.

      Hi! Sorry about the late reply! ;D We here in Norway benefit from the gulf stream hitting our shores making our climate milder than it otherwise would have been. I am not sure you get any such effect in Alaska. But, we do encourage anyone to start growing and at least some years you can be lucky to get a harvest :) see our video about the best grapes to grow in cold climates and good luck!

    Greetings Bjørn and Halldis....
    I am very impressed with your achievement of establishing vineyard and winemaking in Norway 🇳🇴...We have similar climate conditions here in Northern Ontario as you do in Norway..
    I would love to learn more about your methods and perhaps follow your footsteps to establish vineyard here in our climate...
    I would be very pleased if I could contact you directly in person....Thank you...regards from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦...

      Thank you for the kind words Kenan! You can contact us directly through our site slindevineyard.com and we will of course go through the process of running a vineyard this far north in our upcomming videos :)

      @thenorwegianvineyard  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Mikel. We grow many different varieties in order to test what performs well on our land and to use for different blends. We will do a video very soon where we walk through the entire vineyard and talk about the different varieties :)

    Kan mann kjøpe på polet?

    • @thenorwegianvineyard
      @thenorwegianvineyard  2 роки тому +1

      Hei! Dessverre så er det ikkje mogleg endå. Produksjonsvolumet blir mest truleg så lite at det kan bli uaktuelt med salg på polet. Først til neste år er me klare til å distribuere flasker og då blir det prioritert salg i frå eigen skjenkestad på Slinde og til andre restaurantar og liknande :)
