Absolutely wonderful, like in the past when I could sit in many cockpits as a passenger when working for Swissair, and the mix of outside and cockpit views is fantastic. Thanks very much, Waldemar :-)
first landing was a bad crosswind landing, a lot of side load on the landing gear, needs to touchdown on the upwind gear first and use opposite rudder to maintain a track down the runway
These videos are awesome..thank you..: ) BTW,Little tip for non pilot folks, the dashes at end of runway indicate runway width @ 25 feet per dash. Another words,6 dashes on each side is 150 width,8 dashes on each side equals 200 foot width of runway. : P
Amazingly enough, those Airbus control-yoke, on left side of pilot seat, that has to be handled by pilot's left hand somehow work and no problem dealing with mighty left hand!
Excellent video, 24:24 is my favorite part with the fast forward....so my question is "why don't more pilots use auto pilot landing"? Seems like a no brainer....am I wrong?
I really miss the airlines. But if you made a video on the joys of hotels in Fargo and Roanoke and 15 hour days in out of LGA I would probably wouldn't miss it that much :)
Really good video, but the LH "A320" approaching Frankfurt at 9:32 is in fact an A330... The Winglet and the normal Thrust Reversers instead of the REV area you have in the A320... A small detail, but still big thanks for uploading this!
Wow, that first landing was a textbook example of how to really stress your main bogeys. That pilot didn't even TRY to realign with the centreline before touchdown! If I was an aircraft tech I'd just punch him straight in the face, but I'm not. I'm ATC so I just get to call out the fire service when his undercarriage inevitably quits on him.

Absolutely wonderful, like in the past when I could sit in many cockpits as a passenger when working for Swissair, and the mix of outside and cockpit views is fantastic.

What happens if the captain is right handed?
Do they switch seats or just not fly Airbuses..
It's not as simple as just using your left hand surely.
thanks - it's James Horner "Becoming one of The People"
Damn.....absolutely beautiful!!
At 01:02 I want that verbal alert on my desk so that each time a person deletes my files and says it was an accident I an use this...

Toller Kanal! Und die 'Blaue Stunde' ist definitiv die schönste Zeit sich über den Wolken aufzuhalten =]
I think the captain at 16:22 knows personally my real dad who was captain of LTU Tristar :-)
Incredible filming
