As a huge fan of Lou who lives in the frozen tundra of North Texas let me echo others in the Comments by saying how much I look forward to a new video each Friday. Especially this past week. Fantastic work!!
This is the first time (that I can recall anyway) that I can genuinely hear the exhaustion in your voice from building a model. Quite frankly, I don't know how you endured it. I would have never had the patience to deal with something like that. I find I'm getting less patient with these kinds of things as I get older unfortunately. Excellent job as always though. Hopefully your next build will be more for fun and less stressful.
after the many long weeks of work the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701E) looks amazing. really held my breath when the saucer wouldn't line up but the way you dealt with the issue was very calm considering how much work u put in. she looks wonderful with all the lights & decals. thank you for taking us along for the journey.
Try cutting a lip from a length of bicycle inner tube to block that light . Thank you for filming this project . Every friday my heart leaps" with the anticipation of Lou Dalmaso showing me how" to get to Sesame Street . You make learning fun !
Wow Lou. You've put three and a half months of your life into that model! The result is amazing - particularly considering the "less than perfect" product you had to work with. You have had to use all your tricks and experience to wrestle this ship into the final product. You deserve a rest so please pick a nice simple kit for your next project - a professional styrene kit with minimal construction and lots of painting which you enjoy. I would like to say it's been fun following you on this marathon but to be honest at times it's been like watching a circus high wire act - enjoying the skill but praying that it doesn't end in disaster! Keep safe and protected (Covid is a bitch, believe me!) and as always looking forward to next week's thrilling installment 👍
That is phenomenal - absolutely beautiful and perhaps your best work, I thought the large scale TOS Enterprise was your crowning glory but now not so sure - congratulations
I survived the Enterprise E build That was a hell of a job and you mastered it outstanding. I just with we could see outtakes from the video diaries. I think we would hear a whole range of swearing :D
Glad to see the Lady complete. The lighting and paint work is fantastic and you overcame so many problems so the final result is a testament to your perseverence and skills.
Congratulations on the big finish Lou, the big E turned out beautiful!!! I love all the different shades of paint around the ship, the aztek markings and of course the lighting. Pretty amazing you put 14 weeks into this build! I'm glad you stuck with it because it's certainly an incredible build. I've looked at some other E builds and nothing comes close to this beauty. Love the phaser action!!
congratulations on successfully completing your build! It was very satisfying watching it all come together, i think the flat coat at the end really was a great touch, LLAP!
Simply spectacular! I can't imagine anyone else having the patience or perseverance that you showed in overcoming the multitude of challenges and curve balls this project threw at you. Take a break! You've earned it!
Awesome and beautiful build series Lou! Love the ups and downs (regarding the quality of the kit) and how did you tackle it down! Ones again a masterpiece from Aztec Dummy!🖖👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A fascinating dog-leg path to a remarkable model. I apply this descriptor to you a lot, Lou-- but this is surely "bravura" modeling. The end results are a spectacle. Interestingly, you called out the forward lights as being too bright. How about dabbing on a dot of Tamiya clear "smoke?" Or even airbrush some clear "smoke" on the blue engine reading lights? Just a thought-- you know me; always lookin' out for my buddies! What's next!!!???
Mr. Data we are loosing energy fast! Someone turned every single light in the ship on! To me it's a bit weird seeing every single window lit up but you do you. Great work nonetheless.
Hi Lou, Do you ever try X20A on your decals, a lot of us here in GB do this all the time with very good results, it really helps to bed the decals in and gives a very flat finish and helps to show the underlying details
I mean, it was built by an organization that's never heard of a fuse and packs their ship walls with rocks to explode and kill crew members randomly, so...
Good point, Magic-- but one might assume that anything's coming out of those impulse grills. "Inertialess" drive implies no mass... On the other hand, all that light spill seems inefficient too. And... a very nice targeting option for any attacker!
@@aztekdummy Right! But who would have thought that Yoyodyne, being a 1980s California based company, would have been so forward (or do I mean "aft") thinking?
who needs sports? Another one out of the park! as an aside: Has anyone done the C-17 ship that Riddick stole from Tombs in the movie? Just curious Congrats again.. Dane
2nd build. No links. If you could. Please share links to the TRON Recognizer model location, and where we can buy one of these kits for the 650 scale Ent E. Hope you can reply. Thanks.

Absolutely glorious. You never fail to disappoint Lou. Awesome craftsmanship as always! Look forward to the Delta Flyer.
Congratulations. Totally awesome.
What a project! Turned out beautiful Lou!
Glad to see the Lady complete. The lighting and paint work is fantastic and you overcame so many problems so the final result is a testament to your perseverence and skills.
And another glorious build comes to a close! I love the Enterprise-E, and wish I could have a pro-built model of it, but not THAT big!
Awesome job of redeeming a horrible kit. Keep up the great work.
Beautiful work what a great job

Absolutely stunning Lou, you must have be glad it's over in a way. Awesome work.
Stunning!
It was a pleasure to watch this from begin to end.
Thank you for sharing this build!
My God is beautiful !
All that Aztecing would drive me nuts, especially having to re-do it.
You have the patience of a saint.
Put a soft foam seal round the access hatch and use some magnets to hold it down.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 beautiful🖖🏾
congratulations on successfully completing your build!

Wow! Looks really good Lou! Didn't think this one would make it to the end... Tough Build.
WOUUUW !!!!!!! Congrats , amazing build.

Looks great! You do amazing work. I just got the enterprise refit 1/350. Should be a fun project, trying to find a light kit for it.
Fantastic :)
WELL GRAT stuff looks great and if did pont out me never see the light leeks so post will see
Great job as always.
Amazing bud
Great job. Would love to see some shots of this ship and your Enterprise D together.
Awesome and beautiful build series Lou! Love the ups and downs (regarding the quality of the kit) and how did you tackle it down! Ones again a masterpiece from Aztec Dummy!🖖👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Excellent work Lou, well done you!! Just to say, the windows on my version don't quite line up around the name and registry on the saucer top
Another thought - how about subtly rippling the nacelles with light - much as the warp core does.
Looks really great!
Wow!
Awesome

yes, i will be dimming down that headlight
Mr. Data we are loosing energy fast! Someone turned every single light in the ship on!
To me it's a bit weird seeing every single window lit up but you do you. Great work nonetheless.
The scale of the light is too bright, if you were a person in one of those rooms you would go blind.

@24.12... Who makes/designs Federation Starships..?
That would be Yoyodyne Propulsion Systems ;-)
Dammit I want a 1/650 E! And D! And fleet!
Is the lead lined box where you keep the snail?
Congratulations ! Just in time for my new audio/ video room. Shall I send the shipping address now? ;)
go ahead and send the shipping crate. just be sure to stuff it with dollar bills (10s and 20s) for insulation /packing protection :)
Always bothers me that the E's impulse engines fire straight into the bussard collectors.
Well, if there is anything being "exhausted", the collectors are right there to recycle it 😁🖖
@@aztekdummy Right! But who would have thought that Yoyodyne, being a 1980s California based company, would have been so forward (or do I mean "aft") thinking?
@@MrChief101 only the warp drive is inertialess. Impulse engines are essentially basic rockets, hence the name 'impulse'
who needs sports? Another one out of the park! as an aside: Has anyone done the C-17 ship that Riddick stole from Tombs in the movie? Just curious Congrats again.. Dane
Lot of great designs in the Riddick movies, but I haven't seen any kits from it

Lou, love your videos. Look forward to your videos each week. Where do you order your LED strips?
Paragrafix. Paul sells LEDs as well as photo etch
@@aztekdummy thanks!!!!
