So true Custer. I love to think about how Levon is jamming with Rick and Richard and so many others out in heaven. And that maybe one day again we’ll get to experience the ramble.
Levon was always about the music. I was lucky enough to meet and talk to him when I was just a 17-year-old kid, just after "Stage Fright" came out. Nicest guy you can imagine. Being from Arkansas, as well, I also got to meet his parents, Diamond and Nell. Again, the NICEST people ever...they even let me play Levon's mandolin! They don't make them like that anymore.
GRANDE LEVON, SI VEDONO I SEGNI DELLA MALATTIA CHWBLO STAVA DIVORANDO MA , LEVON, RIMANE LA TUA MUSICA, SPECIALMENTE IN QUESTO PEZZO DOVE CANTI E FAI IL SINCOPATO CON LA BATTERIA. SOLI CHI NON HA ORECCHIO NON SI RENDE CONTO. SEI LASSÙ MA TUTTI GLU AMANTI DI MUSICA CIN ORECCHIO, SANNO CHI SEI E SARSI SEMPRE VICINO AGLI AMANTI DELLA MUSICA VERA. PER L' ETERNITA .
A National Treasure.....RIP Leon......
Don't believe I've ever watched anyone enjoy playing music as much as Levon Helm. He is a joy to watch, and I'm so sad he is gone.
