Love the pants.... and totally get your excitement about the new machine and thinking the design was a certain one... it’s new and special and most of us wait or save up for a while for a nice machine.... they do make removable decals sometimes to fit certain machines..l you might look for, plus then you can change the design at your whim and not run your machine:)

Love love the fabric and the pants look beautiful. I also think your puff sleeve idea is great, if you're short on fabric use some shite shear fabric for the puff sleeves but add the green fabric on the sleeve cuff and panels in the top, the shear fabric would also work for a gigh collar. 💚💚💚💚

I love the culottes!! Turned out fantastic!! And you look sooooo great in them...really great style for you! I love the idea of the top with the puffy sleeves...would look like a jump suit almost...but handier for going to the washroom! ;0)
Ooh I adore these! Love love that fabric. A matching top would be lovely, I’ve made a couple of SOI Ultimate Shift Tops that are cropped and has a button back .... tutorial on the SOI vlog. You could maybe adjust the pattern to make puff sleeves xxx

The culottes look wonderful on you. Modest for the UAE as well. Do you ever feel underdressed when you are out in public? I felt like I needed to cover my upper arms and neckline and keep my dress at calf level when I was in Dubai. Very odd to feel underdressed, but I never felt unsafe and enjoyed the trip. What type of work do you do there? Do happy that you get to go back to the UK for a summer break. I love watching Gabby and listening to her Stitcher’s Brew podcast as well. It’s 10:00 AM in Oregon where I live, it’s 9:00 PM where you are. Hope you had a fun day. My day is just beginning! Off to the sewing room now...
