Her accent is changing dramatically! I remember watching Hustle and its so different. But with most of her work being in the US/Canada and her character in Defiance having an American style accent its understandable that its changing. She still does British interviews and television appearances so I don't think 'forgetting her English roots' is ever going to be an issue. The accent is just natural progression. If she did more shows in the UK it would more than likely come back
Yes, and listen to her say "very" at 3:44 - now THAT'S American accent. Very interesting to hear an accent mutate like that. Good observation on your part + good to know other people pay attention to these things.
It's quite bizarre how attractive Jaime is in "real life" (this interview) as a real person while in those Dexter episodes she really repulsed me just because of her filthy personality. That's what I call great acting!
This comment section is why I would personally never want to be above an 8/10. An admittedly stunning woman giving very intelligent and well thought through answers, but people only ever pick up on her looks
In Fright Night 2 , her voice sounded like Kelly LeBrock. When watching that movie I kept thinking about how much she sounded like LeBrock from Weird Science.
funny i came here b/c i wanted to hear her british accent after watching her in the Blue train mystery/poirot where she has a horrible american accent (as all brits who do american generally do) and here there is no pronounced british accent.
Why on earth make a comparison?...Gal Gadot was excellent and Jaime Murray would be excellent.. each would bring their own interpretation and style to the role..
She's got femme fatale written all over her intriguing face.
I close my eyes and I hear Carmilla

True, as well as English lingo and slang that we Americans don't understand
She gets some amazing roles. Lucky us.
Her accent is changing, I can hear a hint of American accent, especially when she said the word "character". Love her act :)
She is breathtaking
