- In this episode of Wisconsin Foodie we explore the western part of Wisconsin, celebrating burgers and beer. First we visit the legendary Pete’s Hamburger stand in Prairie du Chien. Pete’s has been making their unique style of burgers for over 100 years and is known to be one of the first hamburgers to come from Wisconsin. Then, we travel to Potosi and visit Potosi Brewing and the National Brewery Museum. Potosi Foundation President David Fritz gives us a tour through the history of the Potosi brewing from old to new and talks about how the brewery is reviving the community.
