6:51 i tell you what, smart guy for keeping his temper in check after what's being going on while he's been away. remember the time Clark almost went full Kryptonian on Candice's dad for threatening his family? Good times :D :D
i really am going to miss this show. it's always funny seeing Tyler as Superman and then remembering he was Derek Hale from Teen Wolf, my first introduction to the actor. This show is also incredible and i don't care what anyone says, for a tv series with a smaller budget that's tackling storylines that have not been done live action (specifically clark and lois as parents) it's refreshing. seeing how their children handle the powers first time, clark and lois already established people in the universe and even getting moments of Clark losing his temper or acting like a real father putting his Kryptonian paws on a human. we don't see that. The writing is so interesting
You had a good insight-it makes sense that if DD could listen to Luthor, or he could listen to somebody else. I think Lex must have a failsafe for Doomsday, though, in case DD ever turned on him-we haven’t seen the last of their interactions. Best depiction of Lois ever, with the courage to face a monster to protect those she loves, and the insight to treat that monster as someone who still has the heart to remember those HE loved and lost.
As much as I love Lois and Clark, this episode was a little tricky for me. Forcing someone who has gone no contact with a family member to get back in touch, *_no matter the reason_* , is actually a very f*** you move. I say this as someone who, along with my brother, cut off contact with a paedophile father decades ago and still have family members trying to get us to reconnect - it's always for someone _else's_ benefit, and not worth the retraumatisation. Like I said, tricky.

@@FrankBryant-xo3dh I believe it's a complication from above - WB not wanting a Superman on TV and film at the same time...
