QUAD LOCK: The BEST Motorcycle Phone Mounts on the market! bit.ly/3TLhRwV
__________________________________________________
In 2040, the government banned petrol vehicles. A small group of rebels are on the rise, riding old carburettored motorcycles, using synthetic fuel. Here we follow two of the bikers, riding an old 1980 Rickman Metisse 650 Triumph Desert Racer, and a 1976 Honda CB400 Four.
This fictional film, for entertainment purposes, is a glimpse into the future, imagined by us...

Western countries are turning to electric vehicles for clean air, while in Indonesia our forests are being destroyed by mining for raw materials for electric vehicle batteries.
Yes that is the horrendous irony of the ‘green electric’ brainwash.
@@MrDarcy-OlManWhy aren't more people awake to this whole agenda do you think? Could it be down to the arm spear that they took? I'm wondering if that destroys brain cells, like it destroys the heart and other organs.
Western governments are doing this for control. It has nothing to do with the environment. The lunacy of net zero is staggering for many reasons not least because there’s no “climate crisis”. I have several old bikes and will ride when and where I please along with many others. The government is our employee and needs to be reminded.
Great point.
There’s definitely a climate crisis, perhaps more popular with opinion would be a Natural World/Nature Crisis, but the solutions on offer aren’t going to make it better.
It is not the rebels that create the problems, it's the problems that create the rebels.
I have been riding bikes most of my life! i am 70 now and since Thatcher's government onward i have seen our country turn to s...t. The only things that should be electric are house hold appliances. FOR GODS SAKE LEAVE I.C.E ENGINES ALONE. Sorry! i could go on forever! smegin governments.
I agree the thatcher government ruined the uk for the long term
Our country just meaning England out of the 4 in the UK.
You’ve had Thatchers governments since she got in mate….including Blair. To be fair, the three or four before her were crap as well. That’s why she got in.
This (initial scenes), is the future that awaits us. Is this the freedom that 1.3 million British died for in two world wars?
EVs to control. Rev 13.17
Left wing politics
It wrecks and destroys every western nation it touches.
It's anti God, anti freedom.
They didn't die for our freedom.
It won’t happen in the Southern states, we have too many poor people that own guns and can vote.
Why haven't they done anything yet? Not one element of this agenda has been stopped.
@steveclark.. Trump literally just signed an executive order eliminating a Biden Era mandate that said that 50% of cars made in 2030 have to be electric. So yes steps are being taken to stop this green cult which isn't even green.
Don't worry, Trump's tariffs will take care of them. Just wait a few months.
I dont know why, but I have no desire to even look at a electric bike.
To even contemplate such a thing and you wouldn’t be of right mind…
Come to Argentina, we have enough petrol and we don't give a damn about that carbon nonsense we have plenty of green spaces too.
I'm with ya bro. Ride Hard and Stay Free.
C"Carbon nonsense" what are your qualifications in this subject that enable you to be so dismissive. No doubt people said the same about tobacco smoking and it's link to cancer, or DDT or, Thalidomide in the '60s etc. etc.
@@jackn4853 I dont know what level of education you achieved, but Bio-chemistry certainly isn't your area of expertise. India produces 1.5 to 3 metric tons of DDT per year. There are at least 10 countries using it.
Why aren't you hearing about millions dropping dead every year or being born with 3 eyes from DDT use? You're quick to attack others questioning their expertise. Considering the scope of information you provide which is clearly taken based on taking points. Perhaps you should try to educate yourself from real experts from either the WHO or the US department of heath. You might also want to familiarize yourself with the works of John Quiggin, Michael Palmer and May Berenbaum. All of which are experts in their field. If you prefer a more liberal twist. I refer you to Dr Socrates Litsios from the World Health Organization. Try to play nice. I know it's difficult when you're full of hate for people. Being argumentative and hateful towards others isn't going to make you feel better for long. Perhaps some psychological counseling might help.
@@jackn4853 Obviously it's not all nonsense, but the hysteria associated is leading to a lot of nonsense in some of the measures being taken being bad/stupid and even the some of the good measures being rushed and botched.
Most people's 'dismissiveness' is just a reaction to the half-baked measures being foisted upon us. The reaction is understandable and is being triggered, really.
Governments stopping producing ICE motorcycles and even talking seriously about a complete ban (especially whilst simultaneously planning airport expansion) is a nonsense that ignores the place bikes would play in a decent transition plan and can still play in the future of carbon neutral, if not carbon free, transport.
@@DisposalistVery well said.
My response would have been 😴😴😴😴😅.
But in all seriousness my 125 does 120mpg ffs. I barely ever fill it up. People forget that we still get nearly all of our electricity from burning fossil fuels and there are no plans to go 100% carbon neutral in this area. So instead of using my bike until it dies, I would have to scrap it which is a total waste of resources, buy a new bile that will have caused more carbon emissions in the creation than mine would emit in 20 years plus, all for them only to then burn fossil fuels to create the electricity to charge the thing. And when it dies (which it will) there is no way of recycling the dangerous and rare materials use in making the batteries.
It's utter lunacy in my opinion.
I really appreciate you two meeting and chatting in those beautiful Churches, they really are a national treasure to protect and cherish. 🇬🇧🍻
Cracking video guys! Good luck to anyone who decides to enter!
I've already written the script for Mad Max 4. Well, truthfully, I haven't written it, but the concept is Max driving around in a Tesla looking for a solar powered charging station that actually works.
In terms of future watching, just think of this video, if a couple of leather clad bikers had turned up to a lovely old village church in the 70s, the local pitchfork brigade would have the police on your back in moments. Today with the maturation of the market and the ageing of motorcyclists in general, people would be more inclined to come over, chat and compliment you on your unusual and classy form of locomotion. Hmmm...
I love the Metisse. It amazes me that the company can find enough T6 engines to support a 300 bike production run. All credit to them.
Still got around 25 left to make too. Iv just bought one
@movieknifedude3265 Lucky you! Enjoy.
People seemed to outgrow the opinion that horses are the only “real” mode of transport within 2-3 generations. History is funny when you look back at it like that.
I genuinely hope the consensus about ICE and Carbon is wrong because I love ICE vehicles, but I’ll go wherever the data leads.
When engines began to replace horses people were very happy about it. Believe it or not engines were considered much cleaner. The streets of places like London were overwhelmed with stinking horse manure.
What, like the co vid and "follow the science" jab data... How'd that work out?
CO2 is a much-needed gas in our atmosphere. The scaremongering about it is purely for taxation and control purposes
@@MegaVinny73 I’m sorry you weren’t taught the scientific method in school and have been coerced into no longer thinking anything is real. Glad my generation isn’t as susceptible.
Wouldn’t put anything past this shambles of a government, especially Starmer and Silliband
Labour didn't introduce this it was all in place under the last Tory Government.
Hey guys, you are very fortunate to have the opportunity to ride these two ‘real’ bikes. I’m envious. Thanks for the video, and the sound, and the vicarious thrill. Cheers. Dan ✌️🏍🇨🇦
Also had a 400/4 that I used to despatch-ride on in London. Fantastic bit of kit 😄
Loved that film loved those bikes😊

It only takes sugar, water and a lump of yeast an old pressure cooker and some copper pipe and some heat. Let's see if they can control fire.
*Excise and licensing. Just make sure you do it behind closed doors and don't tell your friends. The government certainly controls fire.
CB400F: Most beautiful exhaust headers of all time! (Well, maybe second best to the CBX)
This is why I’ll be keeping my off road bikes including an old Ariel… but Ikll be ditching the number plate straight off 😝
Modern bikes lack soul through their modern technology and even style. Even modern retro classics to a degree suffer.
Thst is indeed true 👍🏼
Never forget my 2x 400fours 25 years apart 1st one would do 100mph every day commuting to work was fab when I was 18
Second was still great but i had health issues by then..great to see one out on the road thanks guys 😊
"My uncle has a country place
That no one knows about
He says it used to be a farm
Before the Motor Law
And on Sundays I elude the eyes
And hop the Turbine Freight
To far outside the Wire
Where my white-haired uncle waits..
Down in his barn
My uncle preserved for me an old machine
For fifty odd years
To keep it as new has been his dearest dream..
I strip away the old debris
That hides a shining car
A brilliant red Barchetta
From a better vanished time
I fire up the willing engine
Responding with a roar
Tires spitting gravel
I commit my weekly crime."
-RUSH, 'Red Barchetta'
Yes!
Am looking forward to the review, always liked the 400 4, small and nimble with great lines. No indicators on the Metisse either. Actually fearful as to what the future holds tbh 👍👍
Ol man finds his vintage stash
The ban is on new vehicles, existing vehicles won't be banned.
This was a made up scenario where all petrol vehicles are banned
@@MrDarcy-OlMan lets all hope your dreams don't come true then.
They might as well be if we can’t get fuel for them
Yes, Walt, everything's is just fine. The ban applies to new vehicles and existing vehicles won't be banned...this week or this year - you've never heard of the method of boiling a frog haven't you? Just give the ultra leftists a bit more time - they'll show you what else they can do
@@2002hamiltonthat’s going to be the tipping point. At what stage does it become uneconomical to ship fuel and refine it?
If Steve the King of Cool said it , it's gospel bro🤘
The Metisse is one of the coolest bikes ever made, and the Super Four is one of the most beloved all-rounders ever made. That is a legitimately tough choice, if you had to pick just one.
As far as phasing-out petrol vehicles, I don't think it'll really happen. Restricting travel is part of the larger globalist ideology, and globalism has been quickly losing ground in recent years as people grow weary of it.
cinematography on this was splendid gents
Thank you!
absolutely welcome! what did you do to change it up? any inspiration for some of those shots?
We filmed it in SLOG3 in order to colour grade it differently. Occasionally we just want to try something different, but we have a very picky audience so it hasn’t gone down with everybody.
aw thats a real shame mate. sorry to hear people werent a huge fan. I thought it looked spectacular, and at the end of the day its your channel. Do what you guys want, and eventually people will appreciate the value of those choices.
Those Rickmans were special, weren’t they? I remember their two stroke models, especially the Montesa powered 250, a friend had one of those. It was a beautiful bike until his first motocross race. All of that pretty blue fiberglass was a mess after. 🙄 The next weekend all but the gas tank was replaced with plastic.
I must be showing my age but all I want nowadays is a 200 or 250cc version of the Honda CT125 but with a larger frame (I am 6'4'' after all) and a proper clutch and gearchange. Fitted with panniers and topbox it could fulfill my needs.
A 250 Honda Trail would be the bees knee!
The new GB350 Honda should do it. Decent bike at a decent price.
You want a bigger bike. Steve's suggestion of the GB 350 is a very good one.
At 17 I would have given my right arm for a 400/4 ( although I wouldn’t have been able to ride it then would I ) 😂😂
Hilarious! Fusion jazz over a wet muddy English countryside, gothic graveyard, and stained glass crepuscular rays lighting the rebel riders animated musings of yesteryear. Hilarious! Thx.
The right hand side panel on the 400 looks like its not fitted correctly.
Well spotted 👍🏼
Seeing that lovely little Blue CB-400-F on the road brought back a lot of memories of my '76 CB in Red. Lovely little bike. Wish I had one now for around town rides.
Great fun! With just a tinge of sadness! Great vid guys
Love the creative feel of the video. Well done to the editor. Perfect music, grain on the video and coloring. 😊 now I want to ride the no key bike. You inspired me to film my next video

That Honda looks gorgeous! I like them in Yellow as well.
Interesting bike and lovely church. Your island is Indeed the cradle of Western culture.
Love the bikes. I rode the 400 four to the last Adelaide grand prix before it moved to Melbourne. Loved the Honda.
Ok, but the main question is, when can we see more of that V7 special? And did you see what they did to the 2025 model??
@@puskinde will be soon, just having some issues with the seat.
Yes we have seen the 2025 model and will talk about that in the next video 👍🏼
Old biker movie Hell's Belles had that same Triumph. Actually the muscle/ body builder scene is coming back around steroids are readily available much more then they were back in the 80's. Young guys want to be noticed and to them it beats all the hassle of owning a bike. I made my living fabricating and restoring old bikes but bidenomics and the new generation shut that down.

Papillon... what a film.

The film is great…. But read the book…. That’s a must if you have seen the film.
You're giving your son a good upbringing, mate. I had a chat with one of my classes today, who are doing the technology programme of studies. I told them, engineering and sciences are great, and will likely give them good stable future employment, but don't neglect learning some general culture. It's no good being a fantastic engineer if you are a complete ignoramus outside of your profession.
If only oil fields could replenish themselves 🤔
You can run a two stroke on avgas. It's £2 a ltr.
The Metisse sounds like I wish my 1200 scrambler would sound 🎵🎶
I'm afraid the days of raw, unadulterated fun are over 😞. All we have now is faint, happy memories of the freedoms we enjoyed.
Now the Honda GB350s is out and everyone and their mothers uncle is having rides, do you think you could do a proper review as the Gb350 renter review in Japan was interesting in a travel style but didn't quite cut it . . as a bike review.
@@0scartheCat Guess what we’re picking up tomorrow from Honda UK 😉

Rebel Riders. SO COOL. Loved the nusic too!
I had 5 triumph t 140s back in those days tyres were so shit and Japanese bikes all handled bad as a result but there was always something about the way they delivered their power was what made them handle so well would always win in the twisties but loose in the straights to the UJM s. And was always proud when she popped first kick but every now and then and usually in front of a packed beer garden it was few kicks then off with the helmet then a few more kicks then off with the jacket etc before she fired up
Electric vehicle are not THE solution, they are a solution, but i don't want at all to ride those bikes and cars. And in France we don't developp other opportunities in public transportation. cars are not allowed in Paris (that's the way the mayor, the foolish Anne Hidlago is going), but subway, buses, trains are not running at commuting hours...
We ( our government ) has created ZFE (less emmision zone) in big cities more than 200000 people, and created a car sticker with categories, if your vehicle is toot old you can't drive in that town.
most of people concerned are workers and can't afford a new car or an "electric battery shit".
Welcome in UTOPIA
Dream bike for lots of people with that Rickman 🔥
In Oz we can't even licence farm bikes, even though they have lights. All becoz ABS is compulsory for road use. So farmer crossing road between paddocks on his new Kawasaki or Honda farm bike is in breach of the law. Technically he would have to switch it off snd push it. As if....😢
Don't ******* start me. Lunacy. Sheer lunacy. I've actually got no problem with compulsory front ABS, even on a farm bike. But rear ABS? You've got to be kidding.
Great video! 👏🏻👍🏻 well done on the composition for the pair of you in the church but maybe you should’ve turned the exposure compensation down… 😊👊🏻
We wanted it to look like that 👍🏼
Hopefully countries will see the error of their ways allow both types of vehicles. Electric vehicles are okay for city commuters but not for long distance. Few charging stations, expensive and time consuming. At least President Trump in the USA has seen this solution.
Totally great intro guys, highly entertaining!

Hi Rutland rebels, welcome to 2040. That Metisse is beautiful and sounds awesome. In the 70s I would go into Ken Ives in Leicester (main Honda dealer) and take out their 400 4 demo bike regularly. They never once asked if I was going to buy one.
Couldn't afford one, but it was a delightful bike.

I'll worry when the councils start refurbishing roadside horse troughs. (Hi-comp Triumphs do 'snort' well : )
What is it with you two? Last week you had the GT185 now we have the 400/4 (first & second bikes I owned) If you get a CB900F2 next time it will be a hatrick. Or go back & get a FSIEDX (yellow of course).

Potatoes.
Have the most starch of any common vegetable and can be distilled to purity. Efficiency is in mashing the potatoes before fermentation. Mineral oil can be added to pure alcohol to help keep the cylinder temperatures cool. Wood gas is also a viable option for some engines of the carbureted variant. California wants to electrify all the vehicles so that the populace can not drive away to freedom. This is good food for thought. It is dangerous to say anything to controversial in my ancestral land, and that is very sad. Now i'm in California, and it's not much better except for the Trump effect now. We all want good line order and not tyranny and 🦬💩.. I hope there is not too much negative blowback from your video production. Thank you.
Using food crops to produce fuel has obvious unwanted side effects, especially when you consider how much of the planet's population feeds itself. The way that we are currently using corn as a fuel source is a crime against humanity. Let's not add to that.
I love the sound 👍
Great video guys it gave an impression of how the future could be and the Mettisse is the most cool gorgeous bike ever ❤
You guys sound pretty damn American today 😂
They better not ban motorcycles they should be the exception.. we'd have plenty of oil to supply them i could see moving amazon and ups trucks to electric tho that makes sense because they're terrible for the environment
I love that Metisse it's a bike that has a soul but then I do love the 400/4 too used to own one in red not as nice as that one though, as for the electric agenda it's just bonkers I don't want an electric vehicle of any kind as they're stripped of their soul, let alone classic cars that have been electrified sad sad times.

At 8.48 you do a slide out of the grass verge. Where I live (countryside) we have a group of about 10 of these unsilenced and probably illegal rat type bikes that come past every so often and make their way across fields, (without permisssion no doubt), it must scare all the sheep & horses in the stables. I love nostalgia but there is a difference between a nice sound (think Guzzi) and a bloody row. Agree on the decline of this Country though. Have nothing be happy….yea great

Hasn't the deadline for the cessation of new petrol vehicles been pushed back a decade or so? It was meant to have been 2030 but clearly that target isn't going to be met. It's the small vehicles that haven't been transitioned to electric engines; I asked about an electric version of my car, which has a 1 L engine, and was told that there wasn't one. It's not possible to produce batteries that can fit in a small car and produce anything like the range a 30 L tank of petrol will. Plus, a fairly recent 1 L petrol engine is fairly efficient. Mine is zero tax. I suspect that small capacity motorcycles will be allowed to carry on using petrol for a good while after cars are expected to transition, but the big gas guzzlers won't get the exemption. We will be seeing far more of bikes like the Enfield (and now Honda) 350 and far fewer Hornets and Hayabusas and definitely fewer Harleys.
Lmao 🤣
