Survivor was the 6th best selling album of 2001 and the best selling album by an RnB act of 2001. Survivor sold 670k first week and damn near 4 million by the end of the year in the US alone. DC, Alicia Keys, Janet were all outselling baby girl. Survivor and Bootylicious were smash hits. Survivor peaked at number 2 on the billboard hot 100 and was blocked by Janet Jackson's All For You (longest running number one song of 2001) and Bootylicious went number 1. DC had 4 1#s by the time Aaliyah passed, 7 top 5 hits, 2 grammys, 4 soul train awards, 1 vmas, 2 AMAs, 4 bmas including the artist of the year 2000 and won that same award (among 3 others) at the end of 2001 becoming the first act to win for two consecutive years. They also had an 8× platinum album and a 4× platinum album. DC was Beyoncé. She carried the group, she was the face, sound and focal point of the group. Her succesful solo career was meant to be. There's nothing that Aaliyah could've prevent. They were too different as well. Ashanti or Ciara is a better comparison not Beyoncé

Only real artists who don't steal credit from other people deserve love and respect.
As for Beyoncé, she can continue earning millions from stolen work but she cannot take away the fact that she destroyed her friends dreams and continues to live through the help of songwriting camps that sell their songs to her.

They did! These are props they use on the show. The actual trophy is mailed after it's engraved. All 4 original members won 2 awards for "Say My Name." This category and also Best R&B song (a songwriter's award for which they all have writing credits on).
