It's close, but not exact. if the radius is r, then the length of your segment is r-sqrt(3r^2)+sqrt(9r^4-r^2) (ab is sqrt((2r)^2+r^2-2(2r)rcos(pi/3))==sqrt(3r^2) and oc=sqrt((ab)^2-r^2) so ed=r-od and od=ab-oc is approx 0.682r, but the length should be sin(pi/9)r is approx 0.684r. You can check it with the geogebra app

angle is 39.9 degrees between each section it should be 40 because 360/9
