    Kids today need to play all sports. They can but it's their parents that think their son/daughter can't make the big time without playing their sport 12 months a year

    Basketball parents are some of the worst. They think unless their son goes to Duke or North Carolina or a high end NCAA basketball school that they won't make the NBA. So many Canadian parents are sending their sons down south for grades 11-12 to get a scholarship. It doesn't matter. If you're good enough the scouts will find you. Look at Steve's path to the NBA. St. Michael's highschool in Victoria BC, to Santa Clara to the basketball hall of fame
