- Pune is the cultural capital of Maharashtra, and food is an important part of the culture and history of the city. I recently explored the best foods of Pune with my Puneri friends Amit, Poonam and Shoaib, and we tried out many different types throughout the day that started at 6am! This is also an excellent food guide to Pune if you are visiting Pune and want to really eat where the locals feast - think of it as an insider's guide into Pune's iconic foods!

Next time you must try Shrikrishna Misal which in Tulsibaug, that is also authentic and old misal from Pune ❤😊
When we were in college it was not possible to get breakfast everytime cause it was little expensive for us, so there is street besides Vaishali, so we used pass by that street just to get smell of sambhar from Vaishali.
Those were the days :)

Iconic 😂 is the buzz word. Someone should count number of times he has said. Food vlog done by googling best places to eat in Pune.
You are right that I’ve overused the word 😢
However, you are wrong though that the vlog is done by googling, except one location (can you guess which one?) Every location we explored was based on personal recommendations of my friends who joined me, and my own since I’ve lived in Pune for many years too.

Is the Vaishali Resaurant open for business. You mentioned in your video that there had been problems there but I'd love to sample the sabu vada.
