Oh Penny I have several of those small Dash waffle makers, I use 1 cake mix 1 egg 1 table spoon of oil and 3/4 cup of water, it's a thick batter, using your mini waffle maker spray Pam on the maker. Drop 1 large T in middle shut lid after all steam is done check them it takes just 3-4 minutes, I get 9 of these from 1 cake mix. White, yellow cake mix for strawberry shortcake cakes.

I have never tried these cookies made with Cool Whip but I will. I am thinking it would be fun to use a spice cake mix and put a maple frosting on top. So many possibilities. My husband has started having macular degeneration at 77 and we have started giving him Leutin with Zeaxanthin as it has been proven to help slow down the progression. We figured it was worth trying.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear your husband has Macular Degeneration. I wish we would have caught dad's vision loss sooner. He didn't tell anyone for the longest time that is vision is messing up. I wasn't his caregiver at the time either. But when he finally got diagnosed with Degeneration it had progressed alot. He did have some surgeries and stuff but nothing helped. He said it made it worse. If I would have known sooner I would have suggested the vitamins and supplements for it.

Get any chocolate cake mix and follow directions on it, except instead of the oil use mayonnaise. Then bake it. It is the most moist cake you'll ever have. Use any icing or cool whip on top. Take lid off icing and place in microwave for one minute….put a cup of PB in a bowl and pour the melted icing over it…mix thoroughly. Pour in (no stick sprayed) dish 8×8 or a 9×9 - and let set for at least 30 mins in fridge. You can also substitute the PB for nutella and the vanilla icing with milk chocolate icing. Tried it all 3 ways and it is wonderful!

We had a Christmas Eve Day memory involving candy & my dad. He loved sweets & got in the freezer getting some candy & being impatient resulted in breaking a tooth off. Just try & find a dentist open on Christmas Eve Day. I guarantee you he never did it again. Our old family favorite Peanut Butter Balls recipe has Rice Krispies in them & very good. I found an easy Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe I really like. Its not 2 ingredients but very good & comes together in no time at all or difficult. I've been asked for the recipe from those who tried it. Have you ever tried Velveeta Cheese Fudge? The recipe was given to us in the 1970s & one would never guess it was made with Velveeta. Its very good I think. Been several years since I made it.

Pour in (no stick sprayed) dish 8×8 or a 9×9 - and let set for at least 30 mins in fridge. You can also substitute the PB for nutella and the vanilla icing with milk chocolate icing. Tried it all 3 ways and it is wonderful!

@Betru2u60 I think you might have to play around with it a bit. Like a little more whipped cream and maybe add a little oil or melted butter. Because our cool whip has fat in it.

Peanut Butter Frosting sounds good
We had a Christmas Eve Day memory involving candy & my dad. He loved sweets & got in the freezer getting some candy & being impatient resulted in breaking a tooth off. Just try & find a dentist open on Christmas Eve Day. I guarantee you he never did it again. Our old family favorite Peanut Butter Balls recipe has Rice Krispies in them & very good. I found an easy Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe I really like. Its not 2 ingredients but very good & comes together in no time at all or difficult. I've been asked for the recipe from those who tried it. Have you ever tried Velveeta Cheese Fudge? The recipe was given to us in the 1970s & one would never guess it was made with Velveeta. Its very good I think. Been several years since I made it.
