His horse is also of a different breed that is capable of lifting a huge amount of weight. Erwin is an AMAZING leader, for example whenever he welcomes anyone to the survey corps the first thing he says to them is "you made a very brave decision and you have all my respect". Many other characters in positions of power either ignore or bully their subordinates, but Erwin lifts their spirits and it’s honest about what the decision means for them. I just live him so much
Erwin is a great and complex character, he's very good at manipulating his troops into throwing their lives away because he sells it as some sort of grand gesture and heroic feat. He may not bully and undermine his troops like the other commanders but their troops don't have a ridiculously high mortality rate. What Erwin does is necessary for them to fight the titans but he nonetheless manipulates people into essentially killing themselves. I won't say more because it'll be spoilers but Erwin is definitely in my top 5 characters in the show.

@@AnimatorDemon to say manipulate makes it seem a much more insidious act on his part when the thing that makes his character respected is the fact that he's willing to give just as much personally (his own life and everything he's got) as he asks of his troops. His words are exactly where his mouth is. It's not like he sits back and acts the figurehead or politician. He's out there risking death at the forefront leading charge giving his all

I'm happy that they're getting decent amount of views right now. I mean like their reactions are pretty genuine and deserve better than a couple thousand of views. Been watching multiple reactors to AOT for like a year now and simply it's the best channel I could find.

This area is between two walls. The titan that killed Eren's mother is a regular titan. All these titans in this area came through the gate that Reiner broke in S1 Ep 2.

A little confusing scenes to understand.
1. The conversation between Ymir and Historia.
- Ymir will die if she goes to the hometown of Reiner and Bertolt.
Still, she's part of them because they said they'd take Historia with them. In other words, Ymir is trying to save Historia at the expense of herself.
But Historia can't allow Ymir to die because of her. That's why Ymir told Historia, "If I take you with me, I can live."
Historia was willing to do so, and Ymir was unhappy because she cheated on her.
2. Armin's threats.
- Reiner and Bertolt have no idea what happened in Stohes Distict and of course they don't know Annie is being held.
So it must have been a great shock to them that Armin knew Annie was a traitor.
Armin even knew Bertolt liked Annie and used it to lie that Annie was being tortured.
And Bertold, who heard it, was alerted by anger and our CRAZY COMMANDER Erwin, freed Eren.

13:45 The scene where Erwin gets eaten by a Titan in the arm can be seen that a soldier follows him to help after that scene.
This is by far one of the coolest moments in anime history. Erwin bringing a horde of titans to use them against the shifters, than ordering all of his troops to charge into a titan spaghetti and all of them giving their lives at his order without question, then Erwin becoming titan food but still giving orders as he is getting chewed, then he kills the titan that tries to eat him, ties his arm not to be bleed to death with one hand, goes back in, frees Eren, and gets out of the titan hell, all with his arm freshly ripped off from his shoulder. The amount of badassery he reached while doing all of that is freakin insane.

Erwin suppressed levi for a while after mike's blade got blow off by levi. Before he becames a commander, he was a really good soilder as well. He was one of the soldiers with the best survival rates.

21:20 its just they are now on their way to wall Maria from wall Rose(where reiner&bertholdt reveal happened on wall rose) and since wall maria was broken through shiganshina district by colosal&armour titan, the smilie titan(the one who ate eren's mom) and every other abnormal titans came inside wall maria and populated the whole area with titans....
if you are thinking how come they are running too long, its just its a huge ass acres of land and also the eps of season2 ,which you guys watched in so far, was happening inside wall rose (where connie's village was turned into titans)

It is very plausible that the Titan that killed eren’s mother ended up here. When the colossal Titan kicked down the outer gate and the armored Titan broke open the inner gate, it opened up the way for the Titans to get here
