@@inatupaz4971, the Ms Universe pageant is not just about the Philippines, the MUO and the pageant itself will still exist even if the Philippines decided to drop the franchise and stop sending delegates to the annual beauty pageant. Don’t feel so entitled by even suggesting that through the help of the National Director, the Philippines should petition the MUO to release the scorecards for everyone to see. I am all for transparency but doing what you suggested will only paint the Filipinos as pageant crazy fans who are so full of themselves and doesn’t know how to accept defeat graciously. The distinguished panel of judges were there for a reason, the result may not have been what we wanted but we also need to learn how to respect their decision.

We need a National Director who is willing to stand up for the Philippines. The clamor asking for investigation is Justice for MMD and most especially the Philippines. Mareng MJ! we are not just emotional and passionate! We never felt this sa mga previous years like Rabiya and Celeste dahil evidently they don't have it, pero ngayun we all knew that MMD deserves something higher placement that's why we are invested and passionate about the result.

The Philippines needs a stronger National Director. Sadly, Shamcey is not cutting it. Kulang pa talaga sa experience. Sana yung mas senior, yung mas experienced, mas sanay sumagot lalo sa interviews. Alam yung mga tamang itatanong and more eloquent and articulate.

Tito Boy Abunda, I loved your questions. I feel this is what needs to happen now:
1) Anne needs to have the initial and secondary TOP 5 report investigated. Like when fans questioned R'Bonney's win, she had that investigated.
2) The President of El Salvador needs to have this investigated - to find out what truly happened. I think, the IT of MU El Salvador holds the key to the truth. Computers don't lie. Was it an honest mistake or was it manipulated? The truth will come out from those investigations.
MU Fans need the scoresheet for peace of mind.
Side note: I am shocked that Shamcey does NOT get why Filipinos are restless and upset. Filipinos are not bullying Miss Nicaragua. Filipinos just want to know the truth. It is rather odd that there were two different TOP 5 reports. Was the original report changed and manipulated for Anne's personal/business gain? Who manipulated it? That's what Filipinos want to know.
Pia was a very pleasant surprise.

Michelle Marquez Dee deserve to be the miss universe 2023. Strong candidate, beautiful,sophisticated, regal. She carry herself very well. Like tito boy said, she did very well. They need a more firm National Director. Shamcey does not seem bothered by this at all. Her answers are always "I don't know" "Im not sure". Fight for your candidate who gave her heart & soul for this because there is obviously something going on! Ask the MU for feedback. The judges all said "Philippines was amazing". Philippines won so many awards but she is not good enough to be in the Top 5? Come on....

What we can do is to petition to the MUO the showing of scores of each candidates in every segments of the competition just like in old MU editions. In this way, rigging and questionable results will be prevented and thus maintain the credibility and respect of this prestigious beauty pageant.

Even if Michelle did not win, as long as included sya sa Top 5, this whole thing wouldn't have been as intriguing and questionable as it is now. I personally find Michelle's performances superb,gorgeous at galing nang pagkadala. Swimsuit was her best and gown was royal and beautiful. I wouldn't say na dapat sya nanalo as Miss Universe because to be fair, even if we know her communication skill is excellent, since she didn't have the opportunity to hold that mic, hindi natin alam how she would have answered the questions, how impactful it would be and how it would compare with the other candidates, pero ang medyo big deal kasi dito is a lot of people think she deserves to be placed higher than where they have put her, which something I totally agree with too. Kung ako lang lagay ko sya sa top 3 pero kahit top 5 na man lang, solved na ako. Just stopping her journey in the Top 10 is surprising and kinda mean haha

A huge salute to Boy Abunda for this great episode and the type of questions he asked for Shamcey and MJ. In my point of view and observation, one can read between the lines of the message of Paula Shugart during the preliminary night. The reason why she is resigning as the president of MUO and possibly one of the reasons why MMD didn't make it to top 5. The credibility and transparency of MUO is deteriorating. I hope someone will be able to save it from bankruptcy. Miss Nicaragua is deserving to be the Miss Universe 2023. However, the public and pageant fans need an explanation from the MUO for that mistake of the top 5 candidates posted on Miss Universo 2023 El Salvador page to end the speculations. This is part of "Walk the talk" and being a transformational leader. Congratulations to MMD for being in the top 10, gold award for Voice for Change, Spirit of the Carnival award and for doing her best in representing the Philippines! mmd indeed, gave an outstanding performance. she did it her with excellence, dignity and grace. but then her best was not enough for her to level up to the next round, the top 5... this made me realize that giving your best, your excellence is not a guarantee to a positive outcome. and having said this, learning to manage one's expectations is indeed a must... mmd is the standard of a queen with grace in the world pageantry. she is ms universe 2023.

As national director, I think she has the right and power to asked for clarification just to make it clear if everything was fair coz it seems like there is something wrong. She must at least stand for it and bold to face this. MMD full performances says it all.

Michelle Dee was the most prepared candidate after Catriona Gray. Periodt! She checked all the boxes and Miss U not letting her enter the TOP 5 is just absurd. Worst decision they've ever made. So dissapointed with the TOP 5 this edition. Girls are pretty but their answers are so so, nothing impactful, the judges as well are what, tiktokers and influencers. It would've been good if they had the guts to ask questions that are relevant in what's happening today, wares and territorial dispute. South Africa, France and India not being in Top 10 is also a great shocker. Miss Universe is goin down the drain, they've lost their class.

Why can't MU Phililppines file a complaint to MU for the alleged switching.? Here's the thing: The gameplan was really to make Thailand win because they thought they were sending their strongest contender ever. And she is actually! In fact, Thailand spent a lot for its strategic campaign. To be able to push for the win, MU must be able to get rid of another strong and winnable candidate --- the Philippines. Thailand would have almost won if Antonia clinched the final Q&A --- but Nicaragua delivered.! Masyadong obvious if pinanalo ang Thai. Aalma ang mga Latin countries. Remenber Mexico is the next host. MU cannot lose the huge Latin market. The last two women should have been Nicaragua and Philippines. Anne, like Nawat of MGI, now have the same 'galawan' -- the Thai handiwork. I have a problem with Thai ownerships: they meddlle.
Exactly. MMD did stand up for us, but the MUPH organization, they left MMD alone in this fight. What a weak leadership we have in MUPH. I guess its time as well to change the leaders in MUPH.

It makes sense that the MU Org has to give the result scores to every national MU Org for transparency, It's like a dance contest every right after the competition they would email the raw scores to all group representatives. Better this has to be normalized so that all speculations around would be lessened and cleared out.
