- Union Minister Ramdas Athawale's speech in Parliament on Monday left Rajya Sabha MPs in splits as he cracked jokes and took jibes at opposition members, mainly Congress. Athawale who was speaking on the motion of thanks to President's address, asked opposition Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge and Anand Sharma to switch the sides and join hands with BJP-led NDA. The name of that person speaking is Ramdas Athawale, he is telling to the whole parliament, that Kharge, the current leader of opposition, should had been made chief minister of Karnataka, because of his capabilities, but, Congress Party didn't him one. So, Athawale is suggesting Kharge to change his party. Then he is telling to parliament that political party of BJP due to its developmental activity is becoming popular in India, and their representation will increase in future too. BJP won 282 seats in 2013, then 303 seats 2018 and in future it will gain 404 seats.
