It's hilarious that I've seen a few interviews today, especially the one with Laura Sanko, and they all play the same card: "Dustin is destined to be champion." They say he's better, he can land a punch, and Islam is meant to be a sitting duck counting pennies. Brett almost sounds like he's begging, "Come on, Dustin is destined to be champion, let him win." It's mind-boggling that even professional analysts get so emotional and biased in their predictions and breakdowns of the fight. That's why I always say, reflect on the fighters' resumes and their character-that will tell you everything.

I truly in my heart have always believed Islam is the best in the world for a while. His wrestling is ridiculous, his Judo is amazing, and he is underrated af as a striker and the striking has only gotten better. Hes not just a jack of all trades but he has mastered all of his skills.

Islam going to play it safe with the wrestling fundamentals. Dustin has to keep it on the feet as long as possible. Dustin’s best chance is to catch him in a wild standup exchange. His rate of success is relatively high in those situations.
You're bugging. Islam is way technical and fast on his feet. + he can kickboxing and maintain a good distance. Dusting has to wish for a lucky shot which i don't see happening.
At some point he's gonna have to do that blitz with his shoulders square where he pushes forward alternating left and right punches. I don't know if they will stay on feet long enough for him to win a decision or to wear him out waiting on the perfect shot. He's gonna have to win with a move like Max did.

He didn't get the destiny question, think it was to deep for him to understand in english with no translator. He will go back train, understand "destiny" and answer it properly. Love islam and his team and how they are so good at certain things but also still learning the ways in others. Its always a learning process for everyone. It's nice to have a fight week where the fighters are both calm and there isnt that anamosity between them. It will be a great fight, I am root for islam but I wouldnt hate it if Dustin wins either.

Theres always comparisons between Islam and Khabib but they are very different people in their approach to fighting. Islam is so relaxed with the press and has he mentions wants to have fun, unlike Khabib who always came across as pinpoint focused and stoic 100% of the time
I love Dustin, he's a diamond guy. Very humble, but Islam is my guy. I hope he takes the W with this one too. You just never know with fights especially at elite level. One mistake can cost it for any of them.
