For those of us who have cafeterias at work, stay away from the lunch entrée and head for the salad bar. But I do like the idea of putting my training reward pint of beer in a bigger glass to fool myself into thinking that I drank less. I may have taken this out of context. Sorry coach.
One of the important key for setting your goal, doesn't matter, it is a weight loss, speed increasing or other, it is good quality sleep. When you sleeping regularly 8-9 hours, you just feeling good and you can work to your goal harder
Just visit *2WeightLossFast. Com* and you’ll find the best weight loss program there is or ever seemed to be. That helped me to drop 6 pounds -- and I’m still shedding weight. Great diet plan. I hope you will love it and attain wonderful results soon.
My friend finally confided in me how she lost most of her body weight and it was by following the *2WeightLossFast. Com* I actually Googled it for myself when I got home. She did really well, she lost 11 pounds.?
Eat enough during a long training session is great advice, and something I've fallen foul of a couple to times. Coming home and eating everything in the house isn't great 😂.
A friend told me to lookup for the diet plan at *2WeightLossFast. Com* . It has given wonderful results to people and worked incredibly well for me. I have already decreased 10 lbs in less than the first week.?
I’m new to Triathlon but I’m preparing to get into it. Now I run. A year ago at this time i could only walk, and did that at a 20 minute mile pace. I weighed 260lbs. I focused only on health, heart rate, and eating fewer calories that I burned (which also means getting rid of wasted calories). No special diet of any kind. Today I ran another 1/2 marathon at a 8:21 pace and weigh 182 lbs. I’m still considered too heavy for most of these sports, but I’m off blood pressure meds, do 150 push ups in 5 sets during stretching, and my BPM while running today were at 145 on average. Weight is a choice to be honest and actually eat fewer than you burn. Want to eat more? Move your body so you burn more. An 800 calorie diet is barely enjoying life. Everyone’s body is different and there are different individual issues, but consume less than you burn and you will lose weight.
Tips: 1. Replace salting food (where possible) with "heat". - explore the many different flavors and intensity available at most grocery stores. Find the right combination of flavor and intensity to pair with your food. 2. Drinking more water will not have you gain water weight but prevent you from holding onto excess water weight. Like with calorie intake if your body runs into a deficit it will tend to hold onto excess calories... If you eat like a grazer... your body will respond by not holding onto calories it doesn't need... your body will respond the same way with your water intake. Thanks for sharing this video.
You presented those tips really well, thanks. And another source of water, for me, is naturally-flavored, canned carbonated or seltzer water, the kind free of sweeteners or calories. Pop one open and you get the fizz of a soda and the refreshment of water. And I like the Clear American brand and a 12-pack of 12-ounce cans costs little more than 20-cents a can.
Just visit *2WeightLossFast. Com* and you’ll find the best weight loss program there is or ever seemed to be. That helped me to drop 6 pounds -- and I’m still shedding weight. Great diet plan. I hope you will love it and attain wonderful results soon.
Great video. I love your accent. I also see the iron weights. I have added several pounds lately, in part this is due to prepping for weightlifting, more specifically some novice strongman comps. It is more difficult to be strong without the weight. Run sub eight min miles or carry 100 + kilo in each hand for speed. What a choice! All the best.
One simple and effective way to monitor your hydration is to observe the color of your urine. It will be almost clear when you are fully hydrated. However, there are exceptions to be aware of: taking vitamins, minerals or food "enriched" with these micro nutrients will naturally darken your urine even when you are properly hydrated. This is because many micro nutrient supplements are too concentrated for the body to fully assimilate and, therefore, a sizable portion is excreted through your urine. For this reason, it's usually best to ingest your micro nutrients at a slower rate throughout the day. (For example, don't try to consume a day's worth of Vitamin C at one meal in supplement form. Instead, use smaller doses spread across several meals. Or better yet, get your Vitamin C from fruit and avoid supplemental forms.) Plus, there's another aspect to hydration that is important for race day: learning how fast your body can assimilate race liquids. There are two "problems" which complicate this. On the one hand, during a race, you'll typically be losing liquids faster than you can assimilate them. This is especially true when its very hot. This causes you to progressively dehydrate during the race. The goal here is to reduce the rate of dehydration as much as possible. On the other hand, if you ingest liquids too fast -- faster than your body can assimilate them -- it will increase your need to urinate which can allow a competitor to pass you. With both of these considerations in mind, you need to learn what your maximum fluid intake is under the race conditions you expect to face that also does not increase your need to urinate. The only way to learn what works best for you is to practice and get the experience you need to understand what your body can and cannot do.
Visit *2WeightLossFast. Com* to find the best diet program in the world. My sister applied it and lost 5 pounds. I just started out and I’m already decrease 11 pounds.?
How much free weight/gym time training do you recommend when it comes to training? I've been a gym rat for a few years but I really want to set up my Tri game and start placing or winning some of my races. I'm a bigger guy and want to trim down to a decent race weight/size. Any suggestions.
Considering our lifestyle as triathletes we shouldn't deny ourselves a muffin when we crave one before or after a wrokout. Three cheers for Andy Potts!
Good information, losing weight can be done without any exercise at all!!! The key is what to eat and When to eat!!! Low Carb or Keto diet with intermittent fasting ( 16 to 18 hours) , only water, tea or coffee during fasting!!! Four years in this diet, started running eight months ago, do my runs before breaking my fast ( 16 to 18 hr). You don’t reduce your daily intake calories, you just cut Carbohydrates and Sugar!!! Eat good healthy fats, eggs, cheese, fatty meats, avocados, fatty fish , 35% cream, coconut milk,…….. I am 58 years old, BMI 20!! Run 3 times a week, 10 to 13ks !
Intermittent fasting is probably the easiest way to create a structure to achieve a sustainable calorie deficit, while also achieving other health benefits. Calorie reduction by ust eating smaller meals will make you feel hungry throughout the day and you are more likely to binge. Just stop eating at 5pm and start eating again at 9am the next day, and eliminate snacks throughout the day.
Step one - stop eating out. There is no easier way to save calories and money than to stop eating at restaurants vs. cooking your own food. Restaurant foods are always going to be loaded with added calories, fat, and salt. Step two - remove processed foods whenever possible - refined fats, sugars, and chemicals in processed foods actually can unnaturally increase your hunger vs create satiety. Exercise is great, but there is no trick to weight loss. Nothing more powerful in our hands than what we place from those hands into our mouths, and we have that power, each and every day.
interesting camera work to start the video off. the camera operator must have eyes in the back of their head. One thing i only realised recently is that whilst i have increased the distance i run per week (259km this week), my weight has also increased at the same time
I am 58yr old plant based eater, and found out I haven't been eating enough protein while preparing for running races or triathlon, so I've been adding much more protein into my diet. It is keeping me fuller, and I'm building muscle. I seem to be losing fat slowly, but gaining muscle which is awesome! I'm currently training for an Oly Tri.
Periodic fasting, and low glycemic dinners. And always brush your teeth after eating dinner... will make you think twice before going for that night time snack.
8:10 That is just crazy! Get rid of this crap from the office asap if you are in this situation. It's undermining all efforts, you don't lose weight or eat healthy simply through will power. Create the environment you need, those jars full of sugar are not part of your "I eat healthy" persona. Another tip: prepare healthy food for the whole week. If you get hungry while away from home, it's less likely you buy fast food if you know your meal is ready at home. Also saves you a lot of time which you can spend training or watching GTN ^^
A friend told me to lookup for the diet plan at *2WeightLossFast. Com* . It has given wonderful results to people and worked incredibly well for me. I have already decreased 10 lbs in less than the first week.?
Great stuff. My only beef with “diets” is they focus on quantity of calories as opposed to quality. Weight loss is more dependent on quality vs quantity. Not all calories are the same. Insulin response is a key factor and yes this is a very coarse post but through my experiences working with metabolic disorders has really led me down this path of thinking. A good read for more of an in depth look at this is the “obesity code”. On another very important and overlooked point is SLEEP! Lol! Thank you GTN for all the amazing content. Absolutely love watching this channel! Cheers to you all!
I am sadly, a freak...I work my ass off, bike, swim, run, weights and HIIT each at least 3 times a week each, I eat well and have cut carbs down, less processed foods, more Veges, no added sugar, less dairy and cheese etc, no alcohol, After 6 months, I have lost only 7kg. Can’t seem to go below 88kg at 5’7 when I should be 65kg, doc says am ok with no thyroid or medical issues, so I guess I am just one of those naturally fat people 😞
its basicaly how it is, want gains? go train with weights alot but also eat a lot, like so much you are full as fuck. You need the energy to grow the muscles, for triatlon you need lean muscles and little fat with endurance capabilities not being a hulk that gets out of breath after running 1km due to excess muscle tissue.
Best advice I have heard re how much water to drink is from Lyle McDonald. He recommends that you pee five times during the day. If you do it's likely you're drinking the right amount.
My trainer today said I should drink 4 lt of water after making some measurements from my body. I am 43, 1.78 m, 80 kg. That 4 lt is absolutely crazy amount for me. Even I drink 2 - 2.5 lt/day, the color my pee is colorless. :) Those doctors are gonna kill us
99% of weight-related vids are for weight loss rather than weight gain. Id say that's way our of the proportion of what cycling audience actually wants. Many want to gain weight for various reasons, especially when getting fitter and wanting more power and w per kilo
I have actually utilized this unique *2WeightLossFast. Com* for several days already and also the results are fantastic. They give me plenty of strength and also reduce my desire for food, but I don`t crash when they wear off which I love, and they don`t make me jittery. I haven`t changed anything else I`m doing and also have lost 7 lbs
why triathletes need to be taught how to lose weight? their training intensity alone should enough to burn all those thousand calories. if you ready to begin your training as triathlete it means you already fit enough and not overweight out of shape kinda person
4:27 - Not true. Stuff like 30BAD and Vegan stuff made me lose 20kg while eating more. How does that work? I think calorie deficits are not sustainable because you always bounce back.
He can probably run further than me! I'm thinking of taking my cat out for a training run. I wont get to the end of the garden before he's bored and needs a sleep. Thats about my level!
Genuinely curious, do any of the weekend warriors or even serious amateurs actually strive to have a pro triathletes body type? ....6' tall, 150# looking like Gumby... pro cyclists and runners look sickly as hell...
In case, like me, you’ve already been wasting your time seeking for a diet program that works, *2WeightLossFast. Com* . ” I have dropped 15 pounds in A single week. I would recommend this program to any person who’s looking for a really efficient plan.?
A friend told me to lookup for the diet plan at *2WeightLossFast. Com* . It has given wonderful results to people and worked incredibly well for me. I have already decreased 10 lbs in less than the first week.?
If food comes in cardboard boxes like fishfingers, fish steaks, battered chicken, etc etc Go for more cleaner food like salmon and vegetable or jacket potato etc etc Think Clean...
I really wish I had find the *2WeightLossFast. Com* years ago. For 3 weeks of using the programs, I lost TWELVE lbs Of course I work out more than once a week, and also eat right. The effect presented to me is astounding. Without a doubt, this is strongly recommended and I do hope this would give good results to you too since it did to me
How to lose weight through a Triathlon... train for a Triathlon. You don't even have to actually do one. You'll lose weight just by training for the run.
Reduce your highest fat items (like deep fried, dairy, meat, high fat dairy filled coffee, candy). I guarantee that fruit and the sugar in fruit isn't a problem unless you're already way over your calories from the fat things. Reducing calories ~~~sure whatever it's 2018 I think we can move along and get past that yeah starvation makes you lighter but does it really work long term for performance I think not
clear is subjective, it shouldnt be as clear as water because if it is then you are drinking more water than your body needs which is a waste of your time.
Its subjective, I drink like a horse and rarely its clear as water. Besides I don't do alcohol, no sodas, no sports drinks, no natural 100% juices, most of the time its just water and or coconut organic water. By the time its clear am bloated and sluggish. He has two likes... just because others agree don't mean a thing, most people just follow the masses, its cool and want to blend in.
Calorie deficit is not necessary to lose weight if you are consuming most of your calories from plant foods which are low in fat. This has been my experience anyway. Caloric restriction as described in this video will not only lead to less than optimal training and racing performances but this kind of mentality often leads to eating disorders.
you are probaby in a caloric deficit. 1 gram of fat has 9 kcal, whereas 1 gram of carbohydrate has 4. If you eat less fat, probably you will eat less calories. Furthermore, a plant-based diet is full of fiber, which fills you up, and water, which has zero calories.
You are absolutely right except for the fact that since I understand what you have said about caloric density of plant foods, I eat much more food to compensate. I do make sure that I'm eating enough so that week to week I am not in a caloric deficit. The key difference is that in eating low fat, you are not storing more fat as you are trying to loose it. Fat will burn in the flame of carbohydrate as they say.
Looking at it from a physics point of view, there must be a calorie deficit to loose weight. If your body uses 2000 calories a day and you consume 2000 calories a day you can't loose weight. For some people plant based diets work for them on a moral basis or any other arbitrary reason however, for some, high fat diets work. There is no 'right' answer. Only energy in MUST equal energy out.
so why do i use only few 100 calories in a day and eat 1000's of calories of crap but stay underweight? so despite the science it doesnt always seem to equate either. I just ate about 5000 calories of fizzy liquorice sticks, yeah i feel sick now, my bike ride earlier used about 200. Im still wont put on a single ounce
I just got off my bike, just under 3 hours and probably burnt 1200 ish calories. That doesn't mean my body will only burn 1200 calories today. Every second of every day you burn some amount of calories. To stay warm, to pull your phone out your pocket, even thinking requires energy. Agreed not all science is full proof, but you would be up for a Nobel prize if you disproved the first law of thermal dynamics. Energy in = Energy out. It's a Fact.
Lonely Planet on the table...where are you going next?????? a ife without sugar is no life...so try to substitude the unhealthy chocolates. How about date/cocnut/nuts selfmade balls to replace the sweeties?!?!
Which of these tips will be the biggest help to you when trying to lose weight? Let us know in the comments below 👇
I don't need to lose weight as I am only 56kg but I can't stop watching your videos even if they are irrelevant to me
I just make sure to have a calorie deficit and I lose weight. I try to eat 250 calories less per day until I reach my weigh goal.
For those of us who have cafeterias at work, stay away from the lunch entrée and head for the salad bar. But I do like the idea of putting my training reward pint of beer in a bigger glass to fool myself into thinking that I drank less. I may have taken this out of context. Sorry coach.

These are great tips, thanks man

One simple and effective way to monitor your hydration is to observe the color of your urine. It will be almost clear when you are fully hydrated. D.Eldon not always true, like when you drink a lot of coffee! Then, your urine can be clear and you can be dehydrated...
This was great guys. Very informative.

You definitely need the extra salt mate ! Sorry
Drinking a lot before eating! Best tip ever!
8:07 - I have done this. Works 10x better if you share the diary with a friend who checks it.

Hi Kiwkims, I'd love to, maybe a video for the future.
Heather Fell thank you Heather 😊

Hi Heather, what sort of tech set up do you have for your bike turbo / tv / video set up? Like in this video.

any tips for gaining weight?
conTroL stop triathloning
wow great advice thank you very much
Eat lots of pizzas and burgers and steaks

Awesome video. Heather, your bike seat seems way too low. Lots of stress on the quads and knees
Dont you mean thirst can disguise as hunger? 1:26
Yes you're right, that's a bit of a mind twister. Hopefully from my dialogue it makes sense.
Its all good. Your point did come across well through your dialogue. Thank you so much for responding. It made my day. :)
Dont you mean monologue ... since you are the only person speaking? :D
Step 1 - Restrict your calories
That's all the steps
I don’t understand , where’s the part about eating bagels?
Surely every diet should be bagel based!?
I have actually utilized this unique *2WeightLossFast. Com* for several days already and also the results are fantastic. what should you drink? enough for at least 4 really good wees a day.
When is GTN dog doing a video?
He's in training, only 9 months old but he's almost ready for an easy run vid!

Who's the puppy @6:20 - 6:40??

How to lose weight through a Triathlon... train for a Triathlon. You don't even have to actually do one. You'll lose weight just by training for the run.
Reduce your highest fat items (like deep fried, dairy, meat, high fat dairy filled coffee, candy). I guarantee that fruit and the sugar in fruit isn't a problem unless you're already way over your calories from the fat things. Reducing calories ~~~sure whatever it's 2018 I think we can move along and get past that yeah starvation makes you lighter but does it really work long term for performance I think not
To know if you are hydrated, your urine should be clear.
clear is subjective, it shouldnt be as clear as water because if it is then you are drinking more water than your body needs which is a waste of your time.
and he got 16 likes and you only got mine
Slightly off topic, but heather is fine
Lonely Planet on the table...where are you going next??????
a ife without sugar is no life...so try to substitude the unhealthy chocolates. How about date/cocnut/nuts selfmade balls to replace the sweeties?!?!
