In the first she is very calm,Kindly,Patient Always refuse to join the Noble consort Gao or the Empress And many people praised this Kindly heart. But after the death of his family He became very cruel 😩 so scary, Compared to the Noble consort Gao
It made it easy for her actions to go undetected....everyone saw her as the kindhearted consort...she was really good at hiding her sinister heart.

Her father was pardoned the first time but then he was incompetent and and many people starved bc of it. The queen Dowager had him killed. She is a very jealous woman and power hungry.

Not to mention there are way more incompetent people out there...were they all sentenced to die for being “incompetent”? The empress dowager’s nephew was also involved in the bribery and corruption. But she didn’t say a word about him and put all the blame on Empress’s father to hide all people behind it... the empress dowager even sent someone to poison the empress’s father after the emperor have already pardoned him. Is this necessary or does she just purely want the empress to lose his father? The empress only had one relative on the world and yet the empress dowager shows no sympathy about it and kill him with her selfishness and cruelness.... You can’t expect someone to be normal after you take everything precious from her... Have some logic and common sense please!
@@madelainepetrin1430 the reason she lost her parents is because noble consort Gao set them up. And this caused a domino effect , pushing her entire family into tragedy. So yes it is in the middle of bitches fight. Not to mention she refused to join Gao’s party because she’s pure and innocent at the beginning.

Yanxi palace. There’s also another great series about the same exact people titled Ruyis Royal Love in the Palace. In that one Ruyi or Consort/Empress Xian is the heroine and she’s the best person there. She’s incredibly kind and thoughtful and loving. The emperor is the true bad guy in that one. Also there’s great characters like Hailan who is another consort but she only loves Xian (like a sister) and she does so many things just to save or help her sister. Like she does something which guarantees Xian the spot as empress or when Hailans son is worried about the sex of Xian’s baby it becomes clear that Hailan would protect Xian against her own son. Just a great show you may also want to consider if you haven’t seen it

When she was sick ans asked for Chun's assistance...she gave it to her....and she kept it all a secret so she thought that Chun was trustworthy....unfortunately she was wrong about her. The Empress's only fault was her trusting nature. She always wanted to see the best in the other concubines/consorts. She had a kind nature....but she was too trusting.

I believe Consort Chun may have set things in motion to cause the fire, but the Empress was in charge of the department that handled the coal that heated the water basin outside of the baby's chamber. I believe the Empress dropped some words in Chun's ear to strike when the iron's hot.
