Its funny but I remember mass polymorph being a widely used strategy in games during 2001-2002

i suppose it is strong against an army with no dispel, but we see here how easily dryads countered it. Maybe it is good against undead since they cant counter it well until they have destroyers with devour magic which is t3
edit: actually destroyers werent even a thing in 2001-2002, they didnt exist until 2003 when TFT came out.... so makes sense that strategy would PWN undead.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. It should have been off CD for the previous fight, where it was much more important. But he didn't use it there, instead saving it for this fight, where your AM was 6 already and could just run away. Why???
Maybe he accidentally used it at some previous point throughout the game, so it was on CD for this much more needed fight?

Polymorph...literally became useless once TFT came out. They should’ve just changed the sorceress second spell completely..even in original Warcraft 3 there was an item in goblin shop called Wand of Negation that gave any race a free 3 charge dispel wand so it was useless from launch TBH only good vs UD because UDs only way to dispel was the wand before TFT lol same with orc.. except for purge

Sneaky attack from grubby towards "humans whinning" aka TOD. I agree that if stomp is nerfed so should be clap. but then clap should be nerfed a bit less since the stomp doesnt affect breakers and the match up is 50% so yea now human should have the upper hand. I find it funny how grubby watch stats for orcs against other races but not for human against undead. Human is gettin demolished by undeads as far as now (47%) so this changes are more than needed for humans in order to compete. Humans might close the gap against undead with thosed changes but wouldnt "dominate". the wisp nerf is huge. night elf are gonna struggle even more against human... even tho human already had a big lead in this match up.
