I'm starting this new Series "Succulent and Cactus Highlight" wherein I feature one random succulent in my collection in less than 5 minutes. Hopefully, you'll like it.
If you have the same succulent, feel free to give some tips in the comments. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
WOW your pseudolithos is spectacular
Thank you!
I’m getting one soon! Can’t wait to raise it.
Yayy. Good luck with it.
The flowers! They look like Hoya flowers!! I really love both of these plants. Definitely going on the wishlist
They are! Though their flowers’ smell is opposite of hoyas. Their flowers smell like rotten eggs and meat, or dead animals.
@@theplantprincephOmg!!! I love stanky plants!!! And fungus too lol. Plants do the coolest things to survive. I love it. So cool!
Edit: I’ll try your soil mix instead of asking about your thoughts on a different mix 😅 though I’ll leave my original post below.
I am attempting to use a heavy ratio of akadama and then a regular bonsai/succulent mix that I make, to try introduce some organics.
Though this mixture dries quickly, and I’ve put these small specimens, one cubiformis and one migiurtinus, both into small unglazed clay pots of the type that are made for the accent piece of a bonsai display.
My question is, am I potentially going to have to water often to make this mix and pot size work?
Is it ok to better to avoid underpotting them with such a soil mixture?
Would I be better increasing the watering of this mix/
Or increasing the organic content/
Or increasing pot size?
Thank you for your great videos!
I have a small Pseudolithos cubiformis.
I constantly worry that I water it to much or not enough :D
i really enjoy every your videos, can u tell me about your pumice, lava rocks, and perlite size? thank you sir.. 😻
Thank you so much. I appreciate it.
The size I usually use for my soil mix is 0-3 mm and 3-6 mm.
For the perlite, I use medium and coarse grade.
thank you fyi sir, ill try it into my cacti soil mix.. 😻😻
🎉❤ Excellent

Hello sir! I appreciate all your videos🙌
Sir sounds like they have same care with astrophytum right? Thank you po🙌
Thank you. Yes, I mostly have the same care with all my Cactus and Succulents, there are just tiny adjustments like soil mix, and watering depending on the species.
I tried to use the link, but my computer would not let me enter it.
Hi, unfortunately the link only works in the Philippines.
Also, I am curious as to the rate at which it grows and how you go about determining the pot size?
It grows around half an inch to an inch every year here in the tropics. A quarter to half inch space from the plant to the rim of the pot is ideal.
I have one of these, but it's much more green. Thank you for the video. Mine is doing well. It's the rounder one, but smaller than yours and has no pups. I hear people talk about keeping it warm or at a certain temperature. Mine just sits in the window cill, and get filtered morning (Phoenix, AZ) sun, but it's colder here now, and I'm concerned it's too cold for it. Does anyone have any guidance on if they go dormant in the winter or summer? or at what temp. it should be kept. ? Thanks very much.
They usually grow fast during the summer. These plants are native to Somalia which is a hot and dry country. The average coldest temperature in Somalia is around 25 degree Celsius. So if you want it to be active all year long, you should kept it in temperature higher than 25 degree Celsius.
May I know where you can buy Pseudolithos in the Philippines?
I have some.
