@@janemarlborough4986 He's very manipulative. Also look at their History. From the moment they were teenagers they tried so hard to be a proper couple but couldn't get it right. Also Toya has had her share of problems with guys and look what happened with Peter Barlow. First she accuses him of Raping her and he didn't do it, then she marries him, lies about Baby Susie being his, deep down I knew that she and Imran wouldn't have made it. He's like Dev, Western Women are okay to Shag but never look at as a future bride. Also why would she want to be married to someone who was married to her own Sister. It never works.
I know this has nothing to do with this specific video, but can I just say... OMG NOW BETHANY PLATT IS LEAVING, TOO. WTF IS THE NEW EXEC PRODUCER DOING to have everyone QUIT?!? At this rate, there gonna need a hell of a lot more families on the Street ☹️
Life on the Set is gotten really bad. If the new Executive Producer doesn't watch it they'll end up like Jill Farren Phelps who got sacked from every US Soap Opera she worked on . Guiding Light, Another World, One Life To Live, Santa Barbara, and even The Young & The Restless which is the Number One Soap in America. Some are just dead weight like Craig Tinker, and the Storylines aren't all that great. The only positive thing is that they are finally having an authentic Black Family which The Executive Producer was ashamed of them not having.
@@laminage i so appreciate the views you have on American soaps as well, might I just start with ☺️ When Kate Oates left, we all knew there was going to be tension at the beginning...but this? This is straight up *wrong* Iain MacLeod did SUCH an amazing job on Emmerdale that I personally thought the transtition to Corrie would be smooth. Now, I realise that jumping from one soap to another (who have different shoot schedules, script read throughs, and a way bigger cast) does have its differences. Perhaps he just wasn't ready for the "bigger" responsibility?! Gina? We definitely knew she was know her way out when Sally got out of jail. Rana? She always knew was going to get killed off in the factory. Michelle? She just had a grandbaby IRL so she wanted time off (understandable). Dev? He's only taking a few months off for a well needed vaycay. Alex? He's going to do stage work (good on him! Tbh, he was a secondary character, same as Gina). Robert? Did any of us REALLY not suspect him (in the end) of sabotaging the roof? Kate? (see Robert's excuse lol) Sinead? Oh yeah, happy endings, but WAIT the cancers back (shock 🙄). And last of all (hopefully?!) Bethany. She NEEDS happiness, dammit (but she's not leaving till 2020 so...) With all the changes in work schedules (6 episodes a week), having to be on call even on weekends, not being able to do EVEN THE SIMPLE ad/endorsements (for extra cash) and absolutely ATROCIOUS pay, no wonder everyone wants out. It's sad, but maybe *THIS* is the kick in the behind that NuCorrie needs to come back on top of the ratings. Sorry for the ramble. Appreciate being able to chat with you! Cheers from USA! Xx
@@marian3nene45Thanks so much. Sometimes they bring in new folks and they just tank. Megan McTavish worked on All My Children & Guiding Light and she tanked and let's not forget Paul Rauch in Guiding Light. I was telling US Soap Fans about how UK Soaps are written by Men and they were impressed.
This wouldn't be necessarily a bad thing. Coronation Street lives in a little time bubble and they are very slow to reflect societal changes, such as Asians and Eastern Europeans being introduced on the show. They are doing this now but they are always about five years late. British society is much more diverse than is depicted on Coronation Street. Maybe this will be looked into. There has been changes in contracts of the actors and they are not as lucrative as they once were.
I love the way Nick dabs his nose on the kitchen roll and there is not a drop of blood on them after he has finished.
