Since the decision to let CB direct was made, they should give Sam a season to direct as well. I just read it was Sam’s idea to have Jamie wear the red coat he loathed & what an absolutely incredible idea that was!!!! Nothing could have had a more impactful punch in the gut as seeing Jamie in the red coat. If that was a stroke of brilliance/directing I don’t know what was.

Will not be anytime soon. Writing has been stopped because of the strikes. Writing also stopped for season 8 of Outlander . They will want to air season 8 (2025 at a guess) before BOB airs.
