My best friend Drew and I had some best years of our lives at six flags over Georgia. From 92 to 97 Just before I joined the Army we lived like kings with our season passes in that park meeting girls that became spontaneous dates, riding the mindbender over and over again when attendance was slow at the end of the season, and going up the first hill on the ninja watching everybody going up on the first hill on the scream machine just before you go down. Best times of my life! It may not be the best park in the world for everybody else but, will always hold a very special place in my heart❤️
Its a great park and I hold it in very high esteem. They are currently making some great changes to the how the park is run and it's just getting better. Hope you make it back someday.
I visited this park in April 2021. This park reminded me so much of Astroworld..Out of all the parks I have been to this park was the one that almost seemed as if I was at Astroworld ..I loved it..very nice place
As a local, I fell like six flags over Georgia has 5 rides that you can’t miss. Those being twisted cyclone, Goliath, acrophobia(love that thing) Batman and Superman. Everything else you ride every once and awhile and you ride blue hawk as a dare(that hunk of metal still sucks)
I grew up going here. My sister and I once stayed until just before closing and got to ride Goliath 4 times in a row bc there were no lines. It was awesome
I enjoy the occasional, well-timed [bleep] as much as the next guy, but when you have to [bleep] your own [bleeping] script every 12 seconds, it makes you sound like a [bleeping] momo.
I wish SF would have relocated astroworld, I mean, they did it to Elich Gardens, why not AW? I still can't get over the board's decision to tear the park down. As a stock holder in Premier at the time, I'll never forgive the board for it.

Yeah, the Free Fall stuck around much longer than 1997. I think it was closed in like 2006-2007.

Carousel had Al Capone ride it at one time at a different location..it was moved to Georgia
