@@panchamsmagic2868 oh He said that SDBurman was composing for the film Aradhana. RD Burman was assisting. On a particular day Shakti Samanta, the director had come to their during room. Bahadur, their house help was also there. SDB sang a rough version of a tune and asked the sitting room musicians to just kinda of join in. SDB was observing Bahadur respond to the tune. When his head bobbed and nodded to it, SDB said that this was the final tune. Shakti Samanta was unsure and decided to leave them to come up with something more. That's when RDB spoke and requested him to trust them. It was his additions and innovation that make the song what it eventually became. Also please remember that SDB was rather unwell during the making of this film hence the reason for so much involvement of RDB 🙏🏼 Bhanu Gupta also added that this didn't take away anything from SDB who was a brilliant music director- it's just that RDB brought in something unique to the song
@@mmmmnnh now, actually I have one more confusion, manohari singh arranger of sdb and rdb said that Kishore da had suggested the tune and he also said that Rd Burman had no role in composing aradhana songs but he just helped arrangement, so I am confused whom to believe, Bhanu ji aur manohari ji , manohari da ka wo interview you tube pe bhi hain
@@panchamsmagic2868 Bhanu Gupta never said that RDB composed this song. It was composed by SDB. Arranged by Basu da and Manohari da for sure. Also another member I forgot to mention, Kersi Lord, without whom this song would be incomplete. But the idea of a song like was RDB- the essence of it. And also we forget how much synergy there used to be in compositions earlier. For example, ek main aur ek tu from Khel Khel Mein - the mukhada was suggested by Bhanu Gupta simply by his practising rhythm patterns before the sitting session.
