I love your channel. You’re down to earth. Gabrielle is not a favorite for me. I’m dying to buy Sycamore, but the price is outrageous. I love Chanel fragrances.
Oh Wendi - I've been going nutty finally getting my nose on numbers of Chanels and for the first time! Given the expense, I've been trying to go with samples first - but I'm quickly discovering that Chanel samples are not cheap either! Being a woody perfume lover like you, especially sandlewood, I have fallen in love with Bois des Iles and got myself the 200ml EDP - and I''m with you - boy howdy would I love to get a hold of a vintage version of the EDT - which is what I hear is amazing! As lesser beings, and being a spicy perfume lover as well, I've gone cuckoo for Coco - both the vintage EDT and EDP. Found both good prices on Mercari and glad they are still so abundantly around. I have yet to try #5 Eau Premiere - would like to somewhere down the line. Appreciate your honest reviews as always...keep 'em coming!
Coco is amazing especially in vintage but even today's bottles are lovely. I would murder for a vintage bottle of Bois des Iles ... I can't even imagine how wonderful it would be ♥️♥️♥️
@@wendisparadeofperfumes5034 I think for me it'll have to relegated to the land of dreams. I think vintage Bois des Iles run like eight, nine hundred dollars! 😱😅
Happy to hear you recovered from the poison ivy it sounded like hell. You can’t sleep well at all when you’re itchy. I was able to get my hands on a decant of Jean Louis Scherrerr! It’s exactly what I thought it would be: champagne-y aldehydes with savory greenness and cooling florals. Very classical but so so smooth. If you had to choose do you think you’d go for JLS, no 19 or Cristalle? I really want to try the No. 19 Poudre.
Sorry to hear that you were sick. Poison Ivy is miserable. Chanel is such a great house. I have been wanting Boy and Gabrielle Essence for the last several months. Eau Premiere is a favorite of mine as well. I'd love to find a bottle of the version you have. I missed the boat and find the current version isn't as good. I think of Beige as a perfect bridal scent. It's so pretty and soapy. At least for me. I def. prefer to wear Beige during early spring when it's still cold outside. It's just so pretty. Bois des Iles is beautiful. I have the EDT which I prefer. The newer EDP version is missing the sparkle so it falls a little flat for me. I have a vintage bottle of Cristalle EDP. It is easily my favorite Chanel; It's mossy heaven. Love it! I'll be so sad when it's gone. Thanks for the review!
My large decent is also 90s Cristalle which is beautiful! They just don't make them like they used to. I can't even really review Cristalle properly because the current stuff is so thin. Thank you for your well wishes
Your Chanel collection is 🤌🏻. I have and love Gabrielle Essence. Eau Tendre is great too, idgaf how basic people think it is. Been wanting to try more Exclusifs…and I’m mad at myself for never buying 19 poudre! I love Iris and anything powdery.
@@9chloie Thank you so much! I love Gabrielle Essence too but more in the summer. Chance Eau Tendre is a staple for me, and the 19 Poudre is somehow a more elegant version of Prada Infusion d'Iris.
Chanel is wonderful
I love Beige!
It's so lovely and under the radar for sure.

Thank you so much! I love Chanels too and wish they didn't price hike so badly.
excited to try no 19 and cristalle!
They are truly different than what is popular now. Let me know what you think!

Thank you. In some ways I prefer the JLS-- There is just more going on and it lasts longer. I'm so glad you got to try it:)
